Blue Marlin, Black Marlin, Skipjack, Mahi Mahi, Striped Marlin, King Mackerel (Kingfish), African Pompano Jack, Sailfish, Amberjack, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Wahoo, and more could be biting, depending on the time of year. On the day of your trip you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light tackle. Capt. Jaime also offers fly fishing, but you may need to bring your own fly gear.

Capitán Hook welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! If you don't have a child-sized life vest of your own, be sure to ask if there's one on board. You're welcome to bring snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

You'll be fishing aboard a 25' Van Diaz Panga with room for 3 passengers. It comes with everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, as well as lures.

You will need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's recommended to bring sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Water will be available for you. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
