Captain Nick of Sarasota Reef Charters is inviting you to come along for a fantastic fishing and cruising trip that you'll remember for years to come. Everyone's welcome, whether you're a group of experienced anglers chasing a trophy catch or a family looking to spend some quality time in nature, the captain will be as accommodating as possible to cater to your needs.

Your boat for the day is a 2020 28' Sea Fox center console, powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha outboards. The boat is fully licensed with State and Federal Permits allowing reef or migratory fishing beyond 9 miles offshore. The boat is fast, exceptionally stable, and loaded with technology and amenities. You'll be impressed with its fishability and comfort. Up to 6 passengers for cruising charters and 4 anglers for fishing charters.

The captain's primary concern is the safety of all his customers so every trip starts with a safety check. After that, you'll cruise up to 25 miles offshore, depending on the fish you're targeting. Captain Nick specializes in bottom fishing for Snapper, Grouper, and other delicacies of the Gulf, but he's always on the lookout for any surprises that the waters hold! You'll have access to Penn rods and reels as well as live and artificial bait all included in the price.

Bottled water will be provided on all trips. You're welcome to bring any other food and drinks you'd like and you'll be able to store them in a designated cooler on board. Your fishing license is also included in the price meaning the only things you need to remember to bring are your sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, and a cooler for your catch and you're ready to meet Captain Nick on the water!

Great experience for families
Half Day Trip on December 28, 20252 adults2 children

We and our two sons (8&10) had a great time! It was our first time fishing. Nick and John took a lot of time to explain the kids how to fish. Really appreciated the kidness and supportiveness. We did not catch fish we could keep, 4 of them escaped the hook but thats nature. Thanks to Nick and John and we will do this again!

Glad to hear you and your family had a great time. Teaching your sons about off shore fishing was a pleasure and pretty soon they will be expert at it. Thanks for choosing Sarasota Reef Charters for your family's first fishing adventure and we look forward to you visiting us again. Captain Nick

Terrific Charter
Half Day Trip on June 26, 20244 adults

The trip was great and Captain Nick was terrific to work with. The boat is first class and the fishing equipment was also. We caught fish and learned a lot. This was my family’s first deep sea fishing trip and it won’t be our last. I recommend this trip for first time fishing or for experienced fishermen.

Half Day Trip on October 14, 20212 adults

My husband and I had an amazing time on this fishing trip! Captain Nick and his mate were absolutely outstanding. They answered any questions we had and made sure we were having the time of our lives. I highly recommend this fishing trip to anyone who is looking to catch some fish and have a good time doing it. My husband and I are already planning to come back for another trip next year!.
