Fishing around here will often see you targeting Mangrove Snapper, Red Snapper, Silk Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper, Lane Snapper, Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Wahoo, Yellowedge Grouper, and more with any luck.

Depending on the species you're after, you may find yourself spinning, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Snacks are also a good idea to keep their stamina going!

Your vessel for the day is a 28' Center console with space for 4 passengers. It has outriggers, all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

You might need to purchase a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Don't forget to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
