Your visit to the Cayman Islands simply cannot be complete without a fishing trip! Jackson Watersports is at your service year round and they offer trips suitable for all skill levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced angler, you're bound to have a great time here!
Captain Lamar has been fishing in the area for 20 years and he participates in international tournaments every year. He won prizes for the biggest caught Tuna, heaviest Mahi Mahi, and most fish caught by one boat – long story short, you're in good hands.
The crew welcomes you to their 28' center console. The capacity is 10, but only up to 6 guests can fish at the same time. The boat is powered by 2 200 HP Yamaha engines and will reach any fishing spot very fast. There's also a private toilet, a refrigerator, and all necessary navigational and safety equipment.
You can either go deep sea fishing or hunt at the reefs and depending on that, your target could be Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Tuna, Barracuda, Grouper, Snapper, Swordfish, and many more. There's lots of different techniques you can try out and bow fishing is probably the one you've never tried before. The equipment for this is included in the price but you'll have to take turns for safety reasons.
Catch cleaning is included in the price, so let that tasty meal after the trip be an extra motivation to catch more fish!
All trips depart from the Cayman Islands Yacht Club on Yacht Drive. If you're staying on the Eastern end of the island, the crew can pick you up from Kaibo Yacht Club. You only need to let them know where you are staying when making your booking.

Reef fishing with Captain Lamar & Jackson Watersports was the highlight of our trip to Grand Cayman! Captain Lamar was very accommodating with our schedule and knew where we would have the best luck bringing in fish. My family and I loved every minute of it! We caught awesome size snapper and barracuda! We had Morgan's prepare the snapper the next night-some as ceviche and some grilled and blackened. It was amazing. I highly recommend Jackson Watersports if you want to have a guaranteed great time on the water!

Had a great day with Jackson Watersports! The fishing action was a little slow but not because of Captain Jackson and Vic. They pulled out every trick in the book and never stopped working to make it a great experience for our teenage boys! Even though they were clearly working hard, they both made it seem effortless with their hospitality, good natured stories and professionalism. We are already looking forward to fishing with them again the next time we are back in the Caymans!

captain Lamar & First Mate Victor certainly made our experience memorable. Both were so patient and helpful for my 10 & 13 yr old daughters. beautiful sights & lots of fun fishing & exploring the reefs. barracuda & snappers were perfect size & fight for the girls. Captain knew the good spots to catch & shiwed the girls lots of sealife. we will most definitely book here again. boat was great & they are meticulous in caring for the boat and us as guests. highly recommend.

We went out with Jackson Water Sports in Grand Cayman this morning and had the best time! It was me, my best friend's two daughters — their first time ever fishing — and they absolutely loved it. We ended up catching six barracuda, a red snapper, and a yellow jack (which we're having for dinner tonight!). Lemar and Victor were such an awesome crew. They were super nice, patient, and encouraging the whole time, and really made it a fun experience for all of us. They even helped me check off a lifelong goal — catching a tarpon! It was such a thrill. Couldn't recommend them more — if you go, definitely ask for Lamar and Victor. They made the day unforgettable, and we'll for sure be booking with them again next time we're in Cayman!

Lamar and Victor were absolutely awesome and very accomodating! They are very knowledgeable and have an awesome boat. We caught Snapper, Baracuda, & Pampano off the reef. They put my son on the largest Pampano they've boated in the last 10 years. Highly recommend Jackson Watersports for any type of fishing with anyone including kids. Thanks!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 15% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
