Make some memories in West Bay and go fishing with Big Reef Yachting and Fishing. With Captain Wayne at the helm, you’ll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.

Wahoo, Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Mutton Snapper, and more could be biting if you come at the right time of year. For these species, you’re likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Capt. Wayne will bring you aboard a 34’ Pilothouse that can carry up to 8 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a fighting chair, and all the essentials no fishing machine can run without. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. The captain has rods and reels for you, as well as lures.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work. You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

Families who love fishing together will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. A few items to bring include snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

If you have any questions about fishing with Big Reef Yachting and Fishing, you can send Capt. Wayne a message down below.
