Just a stone’s throw from historic Jacksonville, St. John’s River meets the Atlantic, offering a range of thrilling inshore and nearshore fishing. Step aboard Capt. Jason Lloyd’s Fishing Charters LLC and go after tough-fighting and delicious fish on what promises to be a thrilling day out.

Capt. Jason has been fishing since he can remember. Growing up fishing the waters of northeast Florida, he’s spent his whole life perfecting his fishing skills. He likes to mix up his fishing techniques depending on the target, and will give you all the support you need to fill the boat.

His 22’ Nautic Star bay boat is the ideal vessel for fishing these shallow waters. Light and agile, she’ll cruise over the water tops at speed, while also keeping you afloat in even the skinniest spots. Creep up quietly on your target fish, being careful not to spook them, thanks to the power pole and trolling motor.

Bottom fish the shallows and the reefs, or troll the open waters to entice the bite, before reeling ‘em in with all your strength. Up to 4 guests will be able to bottom fish at the same time, while trolling will see 2 lines in the water for half of you to make the most of your time aboard.

These waters are overflowing with prized fish. Test your skills and strength against such tough-fighting beasts as Tarpon, or fill the boat with some delicious fish. Snapper, Cobia, Trout, Redfish, and Mackerel won’t give up without a fight either, so get ready to work hard to catch the meat.

Everything you need for a productive day will be waiting for you on board. Take advantage of the latest fishing gear, and away you go. Capt. Jason will even clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip. All that’s left for you to do is bring some drinks and snacks aboard and settle in for a memorable day.

Come aboard Capt. Jason Lloyd’s Fishing Charters Llc and experience some of Florida’s best inshore fishing!

Captain Jason Lloyd is a native of Southeast Georgia and Northeast Florida. He grew up fishing the backwater, nearshore and offshore waters surrounding this area. He's a Coast Guard-licensed captain who has a passion for putting clients on fish. He will take you to all the best fishing spots which are abundant with all types of wildlife. He is prepared for any kind of fishing and will supply the latest gear and tackle to help with landing that trophy fish. Capt. Jason’s experience makes all trips diverse. He will show you how to work bait pods or docks and structure to find fish. He uses different techniques to zero in on catching big game fish. As someone who is always aware of the tide he also uses other techniques such as moon phases for peak fishing times and barometric pressure. He served in the United States Marine Corps, during which he learned commitment to everything he does, especially his fishing.
