Join Capt. Peter on his 46' Hatteras sportfisher with twin Yanmar 440 HP engines and head to the most productive spots. The boat can accommodate up to 8 people and have them fishing at the same time. If you'd like to have a breather, there's an air-conditioned cabin with a seating area, kitchen, and two private toilets. There are 2 private toilets on board, so traveling in full comfort is guaranteed.
When it comes to the fishing gear, you'll have everything you could possibly need for a successful day on the water. The flybridge will help you spot schools of fish from afar and outriggers and downriggers will extend your fishing reach. Hooked a big one? There's a fighting chair to help you get it into the boat.
Speaking of your catch, you'll be on the lookout for all the offshore favorites. Think Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Sailfish, Marlin, and Yellowfin Tuna. Because the waters are so plentiful, chances are, you'll be reeling in fish after fish during the whole trip.
You'll be using top-notch Duel, Penn, and Shimano fishing equipment and you'll have a first mate to help you with everything. After the trip, you can choose what fish you'd like to keep and the crew will have it cleaned, filleted, even cooked for you, if you'd like.
Come fishing with your kids, teach them something new, and have a memorable family outing. Climb aboard with plenty of food and drinks, or let your captain know, and he'll arrange it for you (for an additional charge).

As first time fishers, we didn't know what to expect however, the captain and crew were absolutely exceptional from start to finish. They answered every question we had prior to the experience and guided us through it once aboard. Not only were they incredibly professional, safe and experienced, but additionally very friendly and approachable. We were lucky enough to catch 2 large kingfish on our 4-hour voyage and would most definitely rebook with them. Thank you again to the crew and captain for an unforgettable day.

The booking and communication with the boat owner was very easy and reliable. We arrived at the dock and departed on time with our excellent Captain Justin. He has extensive experience in the area and is very knowledgeable about fish habitat. His hunting instincts are keen. He is also a skilled boatman and your group will be well taken care of by the Captain J. and Chris A definite best experience.

Definitely would reccomend to anyone looking for a charter in the Trinidad area! Some awesome views on the way to the spot too.

Tarpon fishing inshore on February 14, 2026 • 1 adultI booked a tarpon fishing trip for three days, four hours each. (February 14-16, 2026, booking number 1880309). After waiting for even a single fish for the first two days, I asked that on the third day, we spend only one hour of the four-hour fishing on the non-existent tarpon, and then go fishing for something else (mahi-mahi). The guide promised. We agreed on 6 a.m., but not only that, the guide was 40!!! minutes late. After another hour of fishing for tarpon, when I reminded him of the promise to catch mahi-mahi, the guide said his boss had forbidden him because it was too far to go for mahi-mahi. As a result, we spent another three hours futilely trying to catch tarpon. I WAS SCAMMED - I just spent 3 days (12 hours) boating... I don't understand where all these reviews about incredibly successful tarpon fishing are coming from!!! IT'S SIMPLY NOT HERE!!!!!!! I couldn't find a way to write a review on the fishingbooker website!!! I think all the reviews on this site are edited and shouldn't be trusted!!!

Excellent day on the Hopscotch. If you want a great day and the best chance of catching fish in Port of Spain this is the place.
