Walleye Center
Go fishing with Captain Nick Homayed of Walleye Center charters and discover the riches of Lake Erie! Your guide has years of angling experience in the area and he knows all the productive spots where fish come out to play.
Join him on his 23' Panga that can accommodate up to 4 people and has a 100 HP Mercury engine that will take you to your catch in no time. You can try out different techniques, but trolling is usually the most successful way to get the attention of always-hungry fish.
The boat sports reliable navigational electronics, a live bait well, and a wireless trolling motor, for when you need to stay quiet and sneak up to the fish. Capt. Nick will provide rods, reels, and tackle, as well as lures and live bait, so that you can show up for your trip carefree.
The species that takes center stage in Lake Erie is Walleye. The lake is known as the 'Walleye Capital of the World' and the best time to go after these hard-fighting and delicious fish is from June to late September. Smallmouth Bass and Yellow Perch are also on the menu.
You're welcome to come with your family and kids, Capt. Nick loves having little ones on the boat, just remember to bring life jackets for very young children. You should also show up with a fishing license, drinks, and some food to avoid reeling in your catch on an empty stomach.
Hit the water with Walleye Center, explore Lake Erie, and who knows, maybe hook your biggest Walleye yet!

Best fishing charter we have ever been on. Captain was an entertainer with great personality skills in addition to being the best at his job we’ve ever experienced. It was truly a GREAT morning of fishing.

Great couple and I know I'll be seeing more of them in the future. We never had a minute to eat or drink. First mate asked me how many times have they been out with you not knowing it was their first time. Lots of fish good weather and next time I want to see the grandkids with you guys. You guys get six stars.
Today me my cousin and uncle went out on the water to Lake Erie. It was a very exciting time, we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Captain Nick knew exactly where to go so the fish was biting. He helped and showed us how to do everything he explained what to look for and how to pull them in. For this being my first time out on a boat it was very worth it. I would recommend Captain Nick to anybody he really knows what he's doing and talking about. Thanks Marlon

Thanks Marlon great Morning we waited on the rain to go by and limited out in no time. Great group of guys👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you so much,great time.
Captain Nick is the longest active captain on the Detroit River. He's been operating since 1988. He loves working with kids and novice anglers. He's friendly and a patient teacher, so novices are welcome as well. He also runs trips on Lake Erie, where he puts his customers on the ultimate catch of the area – the mighty Walleye.
