Reelhard Fishin Charter has another boat in their fleet! This time, you'll be fishing on a 34' Bertram boat that's been fully restored in 2019. The boat will take you smoothly to any fishing grounds, as she's powered by twin 315 HP Cummins engines. To make every trip a comfortable one, there's a cabin with AC, a full bathroom, a resting area, and a flybridge.
Captain Paul Pennington runs trips from Freeport. There's a variety of fishing grounds to choose from, all depending on the fish you want to catch or the time of year. Whether you go nearshore, offshore, to reefs or wrecks, there's always lots of fish to catch.
Some of your main targets are Mahi Mahi, Amberjack, Red Snapper, King Mackerel, Redfish, Speckled Trout, and many more. The first mate can clean your fish for a tip and he'll recommend a restaurant where you can have it prepared.

Captain Paul and his deckhand were fantastic! They were very informative throughout the trip and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. We went out hoping to catch mahi mahi and red snapper, and they made it happen for us. The boat was well run, the crew worked hard, and the atmosphere was great. We had an amazing time out on the deep sea and I’d highly recommend booking with them!

Captain Pennington is a great captain and knew where to take us to catch fish. We caught red snapper and mahi. All the guys enjoyed the trip and we will definitely be returning on a trip with him in the future.

Our first date that we booked was going to be a little rough so Capt Paul suggested another day that turned out great. There were 2-3 foot swells but they were spaced enough not to be a problem. Capt Paul had a few unforeseen problems but he still stepped up and provided us a great trip. We landed a load of fish but a lot were to short to keep not the Capt’s or anyone else’s fault. It just happens sometimes. All of us and even the ones reading this post have done everything right but just couldn’t get the bigger ones to take the bait. That’s why it’s called fishing. My final take on our trip is great and will be going back out with Capt Paul. I do recommend Reelhard Fishing.

Fishing trip was great! We went to multiple spots and found where the fish were biting. Caught 40-50 fish and my kids loved the day. Great day on the water!
