Captain Elton Rodrigue has been fishing South Louisiana marshes and lakes, as well as the Gulf of Mexico since he could remember. The only thing he likes more than catching fish by himself is putting his customers on the catch of a lifetime!
He welcomes you aboard his 24' Blue Wave bay boat, out of the box in 2015. Powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine, this fishing machine will take you to the best fisheries before you know it!
The vessel comes armed with top of the line nautical electronics and safety gear, along with wireless trolling motor, a live bait tank, an ice-box, and even a multimedia system. It can carry up to 4 anglers of all ages and experience levels comfortably.
Whether you're itching to reel in Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Redfish, Bass, or Flounder, the captain will do everything in his power to put you on your dream catch. He'll show you the most productive reef, flats, backcountry, and inshore to offshore spots and make sure you learn a lot about spinning, jigging, popping, drifting, and other cool techniques.
Catchdat! Charters will cover all the tackle, live bait (prepared in advance), and lures needed for a perfect day on the water. Catch cleaning is also included in the price. The only thing you have to do is get a valid fishing license before the trip, which can easily be purchased online for $10 per person.

My two boys (13&11), my wife and I booked Capt Elton and had a blast. We caught bull reds bigger than the boys. Great trip. Highly recommended.

I have been fishing the coastal waters all of my life and I love showing off our 'Sportsman Paradise'! My grandfather used to be a fisherman and he got me into this. I was on the boat since I was five years old and love every minute of it. Taking people out for a good time and showing them Louisiana scenery is something I love doing.
