One More Last Cast is part of the Last Cast Charters fleet out of Destin, Florida. They’ve made their name on inshore fishing and specialize in putting their customers on some of the most popular species swimming in these waters. You’ll be joining either Capt. Mitchell Wrenne or Capt. Blake Nelson aboard one of their action-packed adventures, visiting some of the richest fishing spots around and getting hooked up in no time!

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 24’ Skeeter Bay Boat, powered by a powerful 300 HP Yamaha engine. The vessel has a top speed of 50 knots and reaching the fishing grounds will only take about 10 minutes out of your trip.

Destin’s inshore waters are home to a wide variety of species at any given time of the year. Battle them for sport or catch them for dinner, whatever your goal for the day may be, given enough time on the water, you’ll be able to accomplish it. Species you’ll be able to target at various local reefs and honey holes include Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, Spanish Mackerel, and many more.

All trips by One More Last Cast are family-friendly and welcome kids of all ages to come along for the adventure. Both captains work to make the trips memorable by engaging every guest and giving them as much training and attention as they need to have a shot at landing a tasty catch. They will let you take your time and ensure that the experience is, above all, relaxing and entertaining.

The captain will equip each angler with top-notch Shimano and Penn rods and reels. The charter will also take care of your fishing license, so no need to worry about getting one ahead of time. At the conclusion of your trip, you can have your catch cleaned and filleted by the captain free of charge. All you should bring with you are food, drinks, sun protection, and sunglasses.

Mitchell is an excellent charter captain!

We chartered through One More Last Cast with Mitchell as our captain. We had an excellent experience and thoroughly enjoyed our 6 hour charter. He put us on lots of fish and kept things exciting...as soon as a spot went cold we pulled everything in and raced to another location. We caught our limit on Red Drum, caught several speckled trout that were keepers, and a mangrove snapper that was a keeper. Outside of the keepers, we caught/released lots of Red Drum, Spanish mackerel, Lady fish, a few other species, and one monster Black Drum that we estimated to weigh over 45 lbs. Next time we're in the Destin area we'll definitely be booking another charter with One More Last Cast and Capt. Mitchell.

Capt Mitchell took us on the bay, collected bait fish with a cast net (which my 10-year-old grandson was thoroughly intrigued by the process), then off to various sites for fishing. He kept our hooks baited and deftly cast exactly where he wanted (distance and accuracy), telling us where he expected the fish to be, which was also accurate. I would fish with Capt Mitchell again if I come back to Destin.

Had a great time with Captain Mitchell! He was very knowledgeable and very helping! We definitely had a blast on our trip. We caught a lot of fish to the point we couldn't keep everything or it would’ve been too much. I would 100% recommend this charter for anyone else wanting to go fishing. Definitely would be booking again with One More Last Cast next time we’re back.

we didn’t expect much from a three hour trip, bit very impressed by our guide. He took us to places near the docks and we were able to catch several reds and then some mackerel. Mitchell was gentle and gave great instructions. We had an amazing time and had a few fish to take to a local restaurant and eat right away. Highly recommend!

Our guide Justin made our trip a fantastic day on the water. Justin was attentive, worked hard for us and made it a really fun day for my son and I. We caught over 20 fish, 5 different species on a day that was windy and the weather had been inconsistent. I would have understood if the fish weren’t cooperating or it ended up being a challenging day or we ended with a low fish count but it was awesome!
