When you're looking for a scenic fishing trip on the flats and bays of South Carolina, turn to Tails Up Guide Service! Team up with Captain Chris Edmonds, who has spent years prowling these local waters, and he'll organize a memorable and fun fishing excursion for you.
Your guide is running a family-oriented fishing service and he loves having parents with kids on board. Redfish are the primary target here, because of their verocious appetite unforgiving will to fight! The fall is the season of Bull Redfish when you can hook impressive-sized specimens that can weigh upwards of 40 pounds. Species like Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Black Drum could also find their way to your line.
You'll come aboard a 2021 20' Sea Pro bay boat, fitted with a 200 HP Suzuki engine. Up to 4 anglers can fish at the same time, and the vessel sports all the latest and greatest fishing equipment you'll need including a multiple live bait wells, a wireless trolling motor, and a top of the line fishfinder/gps.
All trips include rods, reels, and tackle, as well as your saltwater licenses. Bottled water and ice are also provided so you don't have to worry about a thing. You're welcome to bring your little ones with you. Capt. Chris will provide life jackets, in adult sizes only. Please bring your own life jacket for persons under 100 lbs.

This year was beyond our expectations, we got to see beautiful sights, the fish wasn’t biting real good but the captain sure did try his best to get us on them. We had a blast! The captain knew the waters like the back of his hands, always helpful in helping us and showing us tricks! We had the best time and would recommend anyone to go with him. We will be back!!

Full day Trip – Inshore Fishing on April 16, 2022 • 2 adultsYou will never regret spending a day with Captain Chris! He is the Real Thing. Professional firefighter, expert fishing guide, hunter and alligator chaser! What a great guy. I gave my 14 year-old grandson a full day with Chris as a Christmas gift. He's been fishing rivers, lakes, ponds and dams all his life, but never had a chance to fish NC coast except off a pier. We scheduled spring break and, as the day approached, the weather that day looked increasingly bad. Chris worked overtime trying to make everything work. I cannot overstate how helpful he was working with us. We drove 5 hours to get there the night before, and he picked Jack up really early at 6:40AM to try to beat the incoming storm. The boat is beautiful by the way, and the 2 of them managed to get in about 5+ hours of awesome fishing before the skies turned dangerous and they raced for home, sopping wet but happy! Chris knows those waters like the back of his hand and can park you on top of a Fish Hotel! They caught loads of Drum, and even flounder and a baby ray! My grandson told me it was the best gift ever. If you want to have a really fun, successful day fishing---even if you've never done it before---book Tails Up. Chris has the heart of a teacher and loves to make every trip a fun and rewarding one.

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
