From the flats of Santa Rosa Sound to the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico, Doubled Up Charters has you covered. Seasoned veterans, as well as anglers new to the sport, are all welcome to join Captain Corey Maxwell for a calm and fun-filled day on the area's waters. With a whole slew of fish species to choose from, all types of anglers will have a chance to experience the excitement of local fishing on a trip you won't soon forget!
The boat you'll be fishing from is one of our 24' Blazer Bay center console, powered by a mighty 300 HP outboard. She's capable of reaching speeds of up to 55 knots and won't leave you waiting to reach the desired fishing grounds for long. Equipped with all the necessary safety equipment, GPS, communication, and fish finding electronics, you'll have access to all the tools necessary for a productive trip.
You'll be provided with everything you need to fish. All guests will be equipped with top-notch Penn and Shimano rods and reels, artificial lures, and live bait. Depending on the trip bait may be caught ahead of time or at the beginning of the trip. Either way it's included in the price. Kids are welcome to join in on the trips, there is no minimum age and appropriate life jackets will be available.
The meetup location has access to free parking but there are no stores nearby so be sure to get your drinks and snacks before you show up. On board, you'll have access to a cooler and ice, so no need to bring one. Your fishing license is also covered by the charter so the only additional thing you should pack is your sunscreen.

Great fishing charter!

Captain Corey is excellent! He asked what we were looking for, and tailored the fishing experience to match. We asked for activity and variety, and were not disappointed. We were able to try multiple types of fishing, and caught many different types of fish. Between myself and my son, we got about 30 fish. We will definitely call him again next time we are here.

From the moment we step aboard Captain Corey engaged the kids and had them excited (2 girls aged 8 and 7). after a short ride to the fishing grounds it was non stop action catching multiple species. After finding enough of the target species (the pink ones) the girls loved that we headed in. but the show didnt stop there while filleting the fish They were able to meet some friendly pelicans and hand feed them. Captain Corey delivered the exzact trip we where looking for.

1/4 Day Trip – Catch & Release on September 20, 2025 • 1 adult
Probably the craziest fishing charter I’ve gone on hands down. Not 15 min in the coast guard pulls us over to check us and this 1 finned dolphin shows up taking over the show it was crazy, then we go fishing and imediately start catching fish literally by the time I reeled the fish in, the other rod’s already layin down, constant fish getting reeled in and the craziest part is that dolphin managed to followed us and stayed around the boat the entire time (catch and release trip) we’d throw the fish we just caught out in the water and you could see the dolphin like 15 feet away shoot over and chase that fish under water it was crazy, when I come back I promise you, doubled up charters is def getting booked! Oh, and if you aren’t catching fish in atleast 5 min he’s outta there to a new spot. 100% guarantee you’re catching something with this guy! We caught probably 15-20 fish in 40 min but I’ll just post 2 photos that where taken

We booked this trip after seeing Corey's reviews. They did not lie. Corey was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
We brought 3x kids and 3x adults, plenty of room and gear. He put us right on the fish. we caught mingo, snapper, lane snapper, trigger fish, and some pins.
Corey cleaned up our fish and made sure we were happy!

it was great Corey caught fish. He was very good with my wife. She has some disabilities. He went out of her way to make sure she was taken care of great Captain. doubled up is highly recommended.
