Pj's Guide Services offers customers the exclusive opportunity to catch multiple freshwater species year-round. Whether you're looking to go ice fishing in the winter or trolling in the summer, Pj McDeid will tailor your trip based on your preferences. With over 40 years of fishing experience and 25 years guiding, Pj is just the man you want to put you on some amazing fish.
His boat is a 19' Alumacraft, equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, radar, and wireless trolling motor. She accommodates up to 3 guests, everyone can fish at the same time, and kids of all ages are welcome aboard. You'll also have a cooler for your snacks and drinks, as well as a livewell for the bait.
Pj offers several packages, based on the time of year of your trip. Ice fishing can be booked from December to March and all necessary gear will be provided, including tents and heating. You'll arrive at the meeting point and head out either by foot or vehicle.
His other fishing trips are available from March to November. These trips will give you the opportunity to try some different techniques, including jigging, spinning, popping, and trolling. If it's your first time, Pj can provide as much assistance as you need or if you're a seasoned angler, he'll give as much space as you want.
Your target species include Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, Musky, Northern Pike, Sunfish, Crappie, and Yellow Perch. Pj has both light and heavy tackle depending on the weight of the catch. He keeps an array of top-quality rods and reels available on board, made by a variety of brands.
All you've got to do is pick up your fishing license before the trip, show up 15 minutes before departure, and the rest will be covered. Feel free to bring food and beverages, as well as any other personal items you may need.

Captain PJ said he had more than 30 years of experience running these trips, and it showed. Kept the well-outfitted boat managed great, and showed us how to fish for species we've never targeted on hook & line before. Great 2 days, and amidst all the pike and bass we lucked out and got a spotted musky with a beautiful golden sheen! (I was mistaken, in spite of their size, this is a shorter-lived species!) Definitely worth booking a trip!

How cancellations work
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
