Daze Off Fishing 

Honest assessment. We had a great trip! I brought 3 kids (all teenagers) and my wife. Everyone caught fish, from small Amberjacks/Red Snapper to larger King Mackerel and topped it off with my two girls helping each other land a nice big shark :) We lost several other large ones, but hey, the fight was worth it! Bryan showed my son and daughters how to tie knots and hook up bait while there was a lull in fishing so they kept entertained! The crew cleaned our fish afterwards. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was lack of communication before the trip and the $75 charge bringing my son last minute. The site isn't clear. I read 6 anglers. I didn't count the crew as anglers. Overall, now that we got it straightened out, I'd do it again next time we are in town :)

Captain Nick and first mate Nick know their stuff. Despite less then ideal weather conditions we easily reached out destination and found the Mahi. We landed 1 (in pics) and had two others (one easily 40+ lbs) practically in the boat before they managed to slip away - both of which were just unavoidable strokes of bad luck. We also landed two barracuda. Not only does the captain and crew know their stuff, they were a blast to be around and made the trip that much more entertaining. 100% recommend.

Captain Nick and his first mate Jimmy were amazing. They got us on some mahi right out of the gate. My 16 yr old son was able to real in a nice one. Then were able to catch a bunch fishing off the bottom. Wasn't able to get any huge fish in the boat, but were able to put some fish in the cooler and have a great time. We also were able to see a leatherback sea turtle, some dolphins, and a shark. Would definitely recommend these guys. They were very polite and helpful.

Captain Nick had to postpone our trip a couple of days due to some family health issues but was willing to work with us to get on the water before we had to head home. We ended up with beautiful weather and had a smooth ride out. Started out with a bit of trolling but switched to bottom fishing after not getting any hits. We caught a bunch of bait fish, a few vermilion, several almaco jack, some red snapper, and one nice barracuda. We got to fight a few other big fish but lost them before we saw what they were. We had 5 of us on the boat and it seemed a bit like some were just bait fishing the whole time and not put in position to catch anything bigger. I understand it's fishing and some get bit and some don't. Overall it was a good trip and everyone had fun. One final note for parents: We had my niece (15 yo) and nephew (9 yo) with us and Capt. Nick didn't refrain from using a bunch of four letter words and talking about drinking and smoking the "devil's lettuce".

Great trip with Captain Nick and Crew Nick. Fishing wasn’t the best in the Deep seas, but we got into fish and had a great time! It’s an experience we will definitely do again when the temperature heats up. Took care of ALL the fishing gear and filleted our fish for us. We decided to stay in the deep seas for our entire trip and we were into sailfish, mahi mahi, barracuda, and tuna.

We had an amazing experience with Daze Off Fishing. Nick was very knowledgeable of the waters and area. He put us on big fish all day and was enjoyable to be around. His first mate Jimmy was great also and very helpful. Highly recommend and we will def be back.

My family and I had a Great trip with Captain Nick and Kyle, We caught a good mix of fish, both Nick and Kyle worked really hard to make the trip successful. We highly recommend Daze Off Charters and we will definitely be using Captain Nick again.

Overall a good experience with Daze Off and my two boys. Weather only marginally cooperated with us so we didn’t get in the kind of fishing I was hoping for. But the captain and first mate worked hard to give my boys and I a good experience and we’re taking home about 40 pounds of meat from some kingfish and a handful of other fighters.

We booked a 5 hour In-Shore excursion. Capt Nick and First Mate Skylar did an amazing job! Great conversation, very knowledgeable and engaging. 27 ft boat was spacious for a private charter for the 3 of us. Time flew by! We will definitely book again!
