Explore the turquoise waters out of Darwin Top End by joining Spring Tide Safaris on your newest adventure! Skipper Micky Qaiser has spent his whole life fishing in the area, so he’ll make sure you have a productive trip and an amazing time.

Hop aboard his 21’ aluminum boat that was built specifically for catching Barramundi in Darwin. It can accommodate up to 5 guests, so it’s great for some fun with a few friends. The boat is equipped with the latest electronics in the form of a GPS, a fishfinder and a VHF radio, as well as an EPIRB.

The crew will provide fly fishing equipment, rods, reels, tackle, live and artificial baits, and a fishing license. They’ll clean and fillet your catch so that you can take it home and prepare a delicious meal, or just fill the freezer.

You will fish in the most awe-inspiring remote locations in the Northern Territory with plenty of shallow waters rich with a variety of fish. Depending on the season, you will be able to target Coral Trout, Jewfish, Barramundi, Queenfish, Salmon, Snapper, Mackerel, Giant Trevally, and Bluefin and Longtail Tuna.

Kids are welcome on board, so feel free to turn this into a memorable family adventure you’ll always cherish. You’ll have drinks, snacks, and lunch on your trip, so all you need to bring is your sense of humor and adventure!

    This trip is perfect for the whole family, including non-anglers and kids. All tours depart at 5AM from Darwin, with a travel time of 1.5 hours in an air-conditioned 4WD to your destination. Your guide will drop you back at your accommodation in Darwin by approx 5PM after you finish fishing. Locations vary depending on tides and the time of the year of your charter. You will target Barramundi, Coral Trout, Australian Salmon, Mangrove Snapper and others. There need to be at least 3 people booked to run.

    Sleep aboard the Mothership and fish on the aluminium boat – a unique experience designed for experienced anglers who target the big Barramundi to join the METER CLUB. Available almost all year round, but the best time is September to November before the monsoonal wet “buildup”, and March to May after monsoonal wet “run-off”. Trips are custom made from 2 to 10 days. You will need from 9h to 1 day to get to the spot. Meals are included. At least 3 people need to book for the charter to take place.

Skipper Micky, who also owns and has founded the Spring Tide Safaris, has been fishing the NorthernTerritory Rivers his whole life. He has guided many anglers into the Barramundi Metre Club. Mickey is as passionate about fishing as he is about meeting new guests and taking them out on the water.
