Fishseeker Charters takes you out on a fun and productive day of fishing in the beautiful waters Northern Territory. Skipper Robert Marchant operates out of Darwin and can take you to the area's near coastal waters, reefs, flats, as well as rivers. The skipper is a cordial fisherman who loves taking his guest to Australia's bountiful waters. Pick your day and join him aboard for a wonderful day on the water.
Your adventure will start on or my 6.6 metre Aluminium custommade GS Marine fitted with 175 hp Suzuki that can safely take up to 4 fishos,The craft is equipped with GPS, fishfinder, side scan and forward scanning technology and VHF radio, esky you can use to store your catch.
You and Skipper Robert will be fishing in Darwin Harbour searching for Barramundi, Queenfish, Threadfin Salmon, Trevally, and more using light tackle. If you want, you can keep the fish you catch and enjoy some tasty meals when back home. Kids are welcome to come aboard – bring them along and spend a lovely day on the water with your family.
The skipper will cover you for all the fishing rods, reels, tackle, as well as fly fishing gear. He also supplies drinks and provides lunch on 10-hour trips.

First off, way before the booked trip, Robert reached out and explained the conditions and tides of the day, and recommended a better day and time instead. He patiently answered our questions (and some wayward requests), and stayed in touch (for weeks) right up to the day of our charter. My brother was totally new to fishing or even casting a lure, but Robert paid a lot of attention to teach, guide and encourage him throughout the trip. Consequently, my brother (who's 60+) caught fish notwithstanding the difficult conditions and had a very memorable time. I've fished with guides before, and Robert demonstrated all the marks of a professional: not giving excuses for no fish and constantly moving to find good spots suitable for our abilities. The tackle is spot on: just for the 2 of us he brought along a whole brace of rods and kept giving us different ones to try according to the conditions. The boat is an open plate aluminum boat very suited for lure fishing and very comfortable and stable, with the side of just the right height (gunwales). It was all money and time well spent, and, an unforgettable experience to keep. He is the quintessential Aussie character. Thank you Robert, hope to fish with you again sometime. Cheers.
My first trip to Darwin and wanted to tick a bucket list item of catching a Barra. Captain Rob lead a brilliant day and we will book another trip with hm in the future! Plentyof fish and laughs were had, a massive thanks again!!

Great day in the harbour, not a whole lot of surface action but the captain still found us a keeper fish, great guide that knows the water well finished the day hooking up to some tuna in the blue water all up cracker day

Free cancellation up to 7 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 7 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
Book with 10% deposit, pay rest to captain
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
