Join Crossroads Charter Fishing in Stuart for a memorable fishing adventure in southeast Florida. Captain Chris Murray has been fishing these waters for over 25 years, since he was a high school student, so you will surely get an authentic local experience.
His 22’ Ranger bay boat can comfortably accommodate up to 4 anglers. It’s powered by a Mercury V6 four-stroke 200 HP motor with a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. The boat is equipped with the latest electronics to improve your chances of catching some prized fish!
Depending on the experience you would like to have, you can choose from a variety of trips Capt. Chris has to offer. You can head nearshore and try your luck with Cobia, Permit, and Kingfish. If the weather permits it, and the water is calm, you can even go a little further and try reeling in some Sailfish.
If you wish to have a more relaxing time, there’s an evening trip. You’ll be fishing around the local bridges. Soak in some great sunset views while targeting Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, and Trout. Capt. Chris’ easygoing personality keeps the mood on his boat light-hearted and informative.
You’ll use Shimano and Penn reels and rods provided by your captain, as well as live bait and lures. If you want to go fly fishing, note that fly fishing gear isn’t provided. You can bring your own, but be aware that 2 people can fly fish at once.
Capt. Chris really enjoys spending time with kids, so this can be a great family adventure. Kids of all ages are welcome aboard, and their safety is guaranteed by the captain. You are free to bring some food and drinks, and make sure to bring some sun protection as well.

Great way to spend a morning with my Dad
Our trip out with captain Chris was awesome! We caught a lot of fish, learned about the different kinds, and just had a very nice time out on the water. Chris is very easy going and knows what he’s doing - he allows his patrons to do the fishing themselves while he guides which was exactly what we wanted. Overall a great experience and I definitely plan on going again. Thanks Chris!!

6 Hour Trip
Snook Slaying Day!
My father (75) and I just got back from an action packed day trip with Captain Chris Murray and Crossroads Charters. I mentioned prior to booking to Captain Chris that we wanted to get put on some Snook…… Within 15 minutes , Crossroads Charters DELIVERED! We were landing Snook left and right! An absolute amazing experience for both my father and I. We caught 15+ Snook easily. Captain Chris’s knowledge of these local waterways is truly incredible. With the knowledge also comes an awesome personality that makes the experience that much better. For anyone visiting or even living in Martin County if you are looking for an action packed Fishing Trip with a Captain who truly knows his stuff and is just awesome to be around. 4 Hour Trip – Morning
Half-day trip with Captain Murray
Captain Chris Murray knows what he's doing. He took my father and I out for a half-day to target snook. He took us to at least a half dozen spots and we had multiple bites at every spot. Captain Chris wants you to land fish just as much or more than you do. He's a good guy and makes you feel comfortable on the trip. Here's a little more of a specific breakdown. Boat: Clean and well maintained. The 250 hp 4-stroke Mercury started up after each stop on the first try. There was never any fear of a breakdown. The GPS trolling motor worked flawlessly and kept us on the spot without issue. Gear: All the fishing gear worked well and we didn't have any issues. He was able to re-rig rods on the fly and quickly if something broke off. Bait: Captain Murray made sure that we had enough good baits to fish for our entire half-day trip. He rigged and hooked the baits for you so the only think you have to do is fish. I would definitely recommend Crossroads Charter Fishing if you want to catch fish with a good captain.

Catching Snook with Capt. Chris
Three of us had a great time. We caught about 20 snook in a 6 hr. trip. Chris worked hard to put us on fish even in tough conditions of late morning and low tide. He's a really nice guy and fast and patient getting us re-rigged and helping our technique. He knows the waters and the ecosystem very well. Great trip!
