Perfect for smaller groups who are looking for a professional fishing trip that won't break the bank, Predator is a 38' Hatteras boat that can take up to six passengers, plus the crew. The boat features a full, enclosed restroom, and it has plenty of shade for protection from the sun. It is also fully rigged for sportfishing, featuring outriggers, one fighting chair, and a full range of navigational electronics.
As Puerto Morelos is located right on the middle of Riviera Maya, just where the Caribbean Sea, it is one of the best places in the world to catch a large variety of fish all year round. This means that on your trip you could be in with the chance of hooking anything from a Marlin (Blue, White, or Sailfish) to a Red Snapper, with a huge variety of other species in between, such as Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Barracuda.

8 Hour Trip on August 24, 2026 • 2 adultsWe went out with Captain Thomas and First Mate Vincent and had a great 8 hour trip! We were on the boat "Marlin" and had plenty of room for just two of us. We caught an 83" sailfish in the morning, went snorkeling at a reef, caught a great baracuda trolling back and then stopped for some bottom fishing where we landed a massive red snapper! The captain and his mate did an excellent job making sure we were catching fish and that we were comfortable and having fun. If you want to spend a day on the water doing more than just trolling, this is a great team to choose! 10/10 would recommend this to someone looking to fish out of Puerto Morelos.

8 Hour Trip on June 16, 2026 • 5 adultsHands down the best crew and boat we could have ever asked for! Started trolling and within a couple hours my grandson caught his dream fish! Julio and Jiame were almost as excited as him. Almost didnt have enough time to start the paperwork for taxidermy when a mahi mahi hit the line and it was on! Unfortunately had to cut the trip short cause of a sickness of one of my party but the crew was so understanding. I cannot emphasize how great this crew was! Fileted my mahi for dinner at our resort! The best!

6 Hour Trip on February 22, 2026 • 2 adultsWe tried trolling for sailfish for half the trip but with no luck, switched go Plan B (bottom fishing). We caught a few different types of grouper and snapper plus a triggerfish. Then we caught a caught a spanish mackerel while trolling back to the dock. Crew, boat and gear were great, definitely recommend !

The first mate skinned and filleted the fish, and our Chef at our resort made three dishes for us: ceviche, fish tacos, and grilled.

6 Hour Trip on August 1, 2025 • 4 adultsThe Captain and Crew were great. Vary friendly and amenable. We started out trolling and landed a nice barracuda just 5 minutes after getting lines in the water. But then as this is called Fishing, not Catching, we went about 30 minutes without a bite. But then we hooked and with enthusiastic instruction from the crew, landed a nice Sailfish. Which we released for someone else to catch another day. We then switched to Drift Fishing. Where we caught Snapper and Trigger Fish. Which the Crew cleaned and filleted for us. Making great dinner fare that evening back at the Resort. This was an awesome trip. Much thanks to the Captain and Crew for a great day on the water.

3 buddies and I came down for a college graduation trip. The captain and mate put on an incredible charter. They were very knowledgeable and put us on the fish. We caught a trophy Mahi that weighed 50 lbs! Highly recommend these guys and will definitely be back again!
The trip was good over all we did catch fish bottom fishing. We tried trolling but it was not so good too much sargassum. We were told that the Predator was being worked on the funny thing is we saw the boat out on the water while we were fishing? I'm sure they must of double booked but our boat was bigger so seemed to work out pretty good for us. the crew was good they worked hard to try to get us on the fish.

Capt. Manuel got into fishing instinctively, simply following his dad's footsteps. His dad also has a company and fleet, so everything came naturally. Manuel started out small, had one boat, then got another, and another, and now he has a total of 6 boats. Cancun was his first destination for 6 years and then he moved to Puerto Morales, where he has been offering his service for 11 years... and counting. All the boats are super nice and well equipped, and the crew takes good care of them.
