You'll start out of Mindelo and travel offshore in search of the best prized fish living in this part of the Atlantic.
You'll fish from a restored 37' Bertram offshore sport fishing boat that can sit up to 5 people. Its powerful twin 450 HP Cummins engine along with the modern onboard navigation gear will take you to the fish in the fastest and safest possible way. The boat's got a kitchen, toilet, shower, bed, as well as a flybridge. You can use the onboard multimedia system, refrigerator, and ice-box. The boat's equipped with outriggers, a fighting chair, a livewell, and an Omni sonar! In case you need any help, you can turn to the first mate anytime. The SMOKER caught with a 1370 lb is the second biggest Blue Marlin ever caught in the Atlantic. With our new OMNI SONAR we are catching incredible number of Marlin and other game fish.
You and the captain will be using light and heavy tackle to troll, jig, and pop for fish. The species you'll target include Marlin, Amberjack, Tuna, Wahoo, Cubera Snapper, and Spearfish. Make your trip even more fun by bringing your kids as well. This way it can turn into a beautiful family outing in the water. You're allowed to release the fish you catch.
Your captain will supply you with all the gear you'll need for the trip. This includes rods, reels, tackle, and bait, as well as licenses, snacks, lunch, and drinks. He'll also clean and fillet your catch so you can take it home and enjoy tasty meals.
