Boulder Junction is the Musky capital of the world! There are well over 250 lakes in the area. Join Last Resort Guide Service for a chance to explore some of the beautiful nature the area has to offer!
Guide Steve Roginske has been fishing these waters since the 1960s, and he has over two decades of guiding experience. You can be sure that he'll know exactly where to take you for a productive fishing trip.
Join him on his 18' Skeeter performance boat powered by a 115 HP Mercury motor. It's equipped with GPS and fishfinder units to make your fishing more successful. The boat can accommodate up to 4 people, and multiple people can fish at the same time depending on how experienced they are.
The lakes contain a good population of Musky, Bass, and Walleye. Your guide will provide fishing gear, as well as lures. He also has spinning rods, and he matches the type of fishing to the anglers' abilities. He'll be happy to clean your fish, so you can taste your own catch after the trip!
Guide Steve likes fishing with kids if they are interested in it. He provides them with special equipment, Musky rods that look like a Snoopy pole. It's great for children since it casts on a push of a button. There are also life jackets for them on board.
Some lakes have bathroom facilities, so you can have a break at any time. Your guide wants to make sure everyone's comfortable, so he is very open to any wishes you may have.
Boulder junction is a great area for a family vacation to make some great memories together. All you need to bring are some snacks and drinks, some hats, and you're all set for an unforgettable lake adventure!

Great day on the water

We had an amazing experience on our fishing trip with Captain Steve. From the moment we got on the boat, Captain Steve made us feel welcome and excited for the day ahead. He was knowledgeable, patient, and great with my son, who was beyond thrilled to catch his very first Muskie!

Had fun with the group, you underestimated your fishing abilities it made it easy for me to cover the areas and keep you close to the fish. Everyone did a good job casting and working both sides of the boat!

Beautiful Day & Tiger Musky

I had another enjoyable and successful day musky fishing with Steve. He does everything he can to increase your chances of catching and landing a musky. This day was windy, but Steve constantly controlled the boat to keep us in the zone and position for muskies. He provided a variety of lures and bait, and guidance on how to use them. I had one on but lost it. Later caught and landed a tiger musky!

We booked a half day trip with Captain Steve and we had a great time. He contacted me before the trip and asked what we wanted to fish. He picked us up and provided all the gears. He was patient with my 10yo son and made sure that he caught a few fishes. My son caught the biggest small mouth bass he ever caught and had a wonderful time. He cleaned all the fishes that we were allowed to take home and they tasted delicious. Thank you Captain Steve for a great memory. We will surely reach out to him again in the future.
