Who better to take you out than a local guide? Like most people in the area, Captain Martin has been fishing his whole life and boasts plenty of professional experience in the Sea of Cortez. Being proficient in English, he’ll be happy to answer any questions, as he does whatever it takes to get you on the fish.
Up to 6 guests are welcome aboard the 30’ Penn Yan deck boat. A light, yet powerful vessel, she’ll whisk you off to the productive fishing grounds in no time. She’s a professional fishing vessel that’s been built with your comfort in mind, boasting an air-conditioned cabin with a bunk and toilet. All you need to do is bring some drinks and snacks and make yourself at home.
Get ready for a pulse-racing experience as you hit up the stunning reefs. These underwater networks play home to a range of exciting and delicious fish, giving you the chance to test your bottom fishing skills to fill the boat. Go after Snappers, Groupers, Triggerfish, Barracuda, Seabass, and many more prized fish, before heading back to shore with a delicious treat.
At the end of your trip, the crew will clean and fillet your catch, so you’re good for food right away. They can even provide snorkeling gear if you request in advance, so get in touch and make the most of your trip. All Capt. Martin asks is that you arrive 15 minutes before your departure time, and away you go!

Half Day Trip (AM)
Another great trip!
This was the forth trip we've taken with Federico's. We normally go out on the larger boats on a full day charter, but we had fewer people than normal, so we decided to do a half day on a smaller boat. Victor was our captain and crew, but despite him being the only person, he was able to help us get the gear going, handle bait, clean and bag our catch, and move the boat a few times to get us on the fish. We caught a good amount of fish, and had a lot of fun. We always go back to Federico's because the crew are always hard-working, personable, and every time we've gone with them we've caught lots of fish. They have safe parking, an easy to find dock, and the boats, while a little on the older side, are clean and well maintained. Never disappointed going out with them!

What a Fun Day!!
Our family had a great time fishing with our captain, Victor, and Federico's fishing charter. The captain was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He helped us navigate to the spots where the fish were, and we caught plenty! I highly recommend Federico's, and many thanks to our captain Victor. He was amazing!

It was a great time, spent a lot of time looking for that giant grouper with no luck. Our captain Victor worked his ass off trying to find them but they just weren't bitting. The captain even let us stay out an extra hour pass our time in order for us to catch something to take home. No grouper, but plenty of decent size trigger fish and sea bass. Everyone at Federico's charters was super nice, and they made it super easy for us. Captain Victor was super friendly, and helpful. This review would have been a 5 star if that grouper would have shown itself. Already planning on coming back to Federico's charters.

Outstanding Fishing Trip!
Gustavo was awesome! He made my 12 year old son's first fishing trip enjoyable and memorable. Also, very attentive to all our needs. The captain was first class. I was amazed at his docking skills and attention to our fishing success, moving the boat when it was time to move to better fishing grounds. Ernesto was appreciated very much for upgrading our boat due to the scheduled boat being down for maintenance. We're looking forward to the next fishing trip!
