'La Piragua' is a 24' panga-style boat, offering you a traditional Latin American fishing experience. She was custom-built for fishing these waters, boasting a center console that provides plenty of space and sight for all sorts of fishing. She's remarkably stable, keeping you afloat in all conditions, while the GPS system and fish finder will make sure you get on the fish.
Speaking of the fish, the rich waters offer up plenty. Within just 25 minutes from port, you'll get your fish on around the stunning tropical island, targeting big, tasty fish like Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, Snapper, Jacks, and many more game fish. Test your angling skills as you cast away and bottom fish or let the trolling lines do the work.
The hard-working crew promise to make you feel a part of the family, so don't hesitate to get in touch regarding anything you want. Snorkeling gear can be provided free of charge, while you can also rent some spearfishing equipment. We were seeking yellowfin so that's exactly what we caught. Our fishing guide and captain was most knowledgeable and accommodating. I proposed to my fiancé the day before and this could not have been a better celebration. We caught nine yellowfins and one bonito. At the end of the trip, my fiancé wanted to go for a sierra so our captain took us on an extra 1.5-hour journey around the island where we saw beautiful coastlines but no more fish. Even then, our captain still trolled slowly around the entirety of the island to show us a good time. Thanks guys! We recommend this to any family, fishermen, or fun-seekers.
Initial plan was to go and spend the day on a sandy and lonely beach at Isla Cebaco - snorkeling was amazing. On our way we met and played with dolphins, and we caught one Tuna Albacore. Lots of fun for parents and young adults. Do not hesitate, even though you do not speak Spanish, Cpt Jairo and team will find ways to share their knowledge
Great day fishing in Panama! The captains and mate were very nice to us. We caught Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Peto (Wahoo), and Sierra (Mackerel). Highly recommended.

Had a great day out with Captain Andres and his crew. One of his crew members actually jumped out of the boat to catch a fish with his bare hands that broke my line as I was reeling it in...amazing! The fishing islands we went to were gorgeous as well. If you're near Punta Chame I highly recommend Captain Andres and his crew.
