If you're ready to try fishing in Port Canaveral, look no further than Extreme Sport Fishing. Captain Jason will be your guide, bringing aboard years of sportfishing experience.
Amberjack, Cobia, Mahi Mahi, Flounder, Goliath Grouper, Red Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, Tripletail, Snook, Sailfish, and more are in the cards, depending on the season. For these species, you're likely to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Families making a day of it will be glad to know that kids are welcome aboard! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise, you should bring your own. Also, remember to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
Capt. Jason welcomes you aboard a 33' Stuart Angler center console with room for 6 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
A First Mate will be there to make sure everything is running smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. If you don't know what to expect, ask the captain.
Don't leave home without a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunblock (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
Now and then the fish might get away, but a day on the water never should. Time to make it happen, with Extreme Sport Fishing!

He wanted a shark and hooked up on a 280 lb sand shark that he fought for 1hr and 45 minutes. We got to see the shark before propelling down to the bottom again. The captain Jason was great on locating the fish , fantastic personality, humor and had music for the fishing time. Boat was perfect for the heat and had a cover and bathroom available. We will be definitely booking again!

I am somewhat experienced, myself but learned several new things about catching live bait in the area and more of the local knowledge. The grouper weren’t grabbing the bait as fast as the “elusive” red snapper but it’s always fun to wrestle a hoss. He was excellent with his teaching and coaching and has a very dry and stable setup with how very capable vessel and isinglass curtains for our afternoon shower that formed up that day. I really enjoyed being with him and look forward to the next time!

Jason was an outstanding fishing guide from start to finish. He was knowledgeable, patient, and worked hard all day to make sure everyone had a great experience. His passion for fishing really shows, and he knew exactly where to put us on the fish. The boat was clean, the equipment was in great shape, and Jason made the trip enjoyable whether you were an experienced angler or fishing for the first time. We were a party of three on the half day charter starting at 7am.The waters were crazy in the morning, but Jason adjusted fire quickly to get us on the fish fast. The first fish caught, within moments of dropping anchor, opened the flood gates for many fish to follow. Jason ensured the hooks were baited quickly and made sure the playlist was on point.We will definitely be rebooking...
Me and some buddies went along with Captain Jason and he got us on some monster fish. His knowledge, experience, and great humor made for a memorable trip. Already waiting for next year so we can go out again with him. We would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a fun time on the water.

Shark fishing didn't workout as my youngest didn't enjoy the choppy water (first time). Brought us back in and allowed us to fish for the remainder. Son and I really enjoyed it.
