Fraser Legends Fishing 

We have fished several places and diff species and this is one to remember. Peter has passion for his job, for the species and for teaching others that is infections. The knowledge he has and his efforts to improve the sport of fishing are admirable. Now for the fishing...the boat is well cared for with everything one needs in a cold wet day. The instruction was spot on, and we caught a lot of sturgeon. All of us got at least one and we loved learning the process of measuring, tagging and releasing. It was perfect. Felt like we learned a lot, had a blast, got to see the sights, a few seals, deer too....and we contributed to the data. TY Peter for a great time.

Captain Peter did not disappoint his extensive knowledge of the Sturgeon Fish the research we performed was something we’ve never experienced. We landed four fish. All fish were untagged so we got to tag, measure, named and release them. The Hail Mary at the end of the trip was one for the record books being able to get into the water next to the 6 foot 8 Surgeon Fish. This was a core memory that will never be forgotten by our kids nor ourselves.

It was a tough day with the sturgeon not cooperating, but Peter knows what he’s doing and tried everything to make the day successful. We still caught a few fish and had a good time. I wouldnt hestitate to book again if we are in the area.

Peter the skipper is a very passionate and knowledgeable man about Sturgeon. This trip was not just about catching a fish,it was an education into the river,the eco system and the importance of balance. On the day the fish were being hard to locate. After a couple of list fish due to hook pulls we had a series of missed bites. Peter kept our spirits up and tried different spits to get us a fish on the boat. With little time left we had one more bite. This fish tore off and breached the water. This fish was not getting on the boat, it was too big! Peter calmly gave us instructionswhile he manovered the boat to shore. We safely landed the fish, quickly measuring and checking for a tag before a quick photo and a safe realease. At 177cm long (5ft 9) it was a big fish. There are bigger ones out there and can't wait to have another go. I would highly recommend this skipper. If you are thinking of having a go, stop thinking and just do it.

Such a wonderful experience with Peter! From the minute we booked with him, he was so helpful with communicating things to make the planning process a breeze! We met him at the dock at 7 am and headed out to our spot, we decided to bring some snacks and a couple drinks. Peter had waters for us and offered some goodies as well. Learned so much on the fishery around the area and even got to help with the Sturgeon conservation with learning how to tag and track data. There were a total of 4 adults that went on this trip and we all had so much fun. Such a neat experience catching Sturgeon for the first time. Hope to come to the area in the future and fish with Peter again! Thank you for such a great day to end our trip here in Canada!

My girlfriend and I booked this trip during an early December vacation to the area. We weren't sure what to expect but what happened that day surely blew away our expectations. We ended up landing 8 fish ranging from small to big with over half needing to be tagged to help with research. The actual fishing portion was like nothing I have done in terms of feel and fight. Peter Krahn is a magnificent captain and person to help coach you through that experience and his large, vast knowledge from his background was very informative and interesting. The thorough knowledge he has to tag and study these fish always kept an interesting conversation going and he always knew how to crack a smile from time to time in between. A full 10/10 experience without question.

Even before fishing, the captain was attentive and guided us regarding the fishing license, clothing, followed the weather forecast, so that we could have the best experience. On the day of fishing he was very punctual and friendly throughout the day. He showed a lot of commitment to make our fishing experience as pleasant as possible! Captain Peter is a very kind, attentive and respectful person. He cares a lot about nature! We had the best possible experience and we still fished the sturgen! Thank you captain, and we'll be back as soon as possible!!

Our family of 3 booked this fishing charter the morning before we got on a cruise ship. Peter was fantastic from the moment we booked. His communication was great and we had a game plan for the morning. Peter is a fascinating research scientist and a wealth of information. We really enjoyed hearing about his vast knowledge of the rivers and fish in the area. Our 14 year old son really enjoyed not only catching the sturgeon, but also tagging and measuring the fish. It made for a truly unique experience. We highly recommend spending a day with Peter on the water.

Had a blast out there with Peter. Due to tide changes the fishing was slow at first, but Peter went out of his way to extend the trip well past the initial 4 hour booking in order to get on some fish for no extra charge. Would definitely book again. Was a cool experience scanning the fish for microchips as well as documenting the fish information.
