When you book a trip with Captain Kevin Lescale, you're getting more than an activity, you're in for a fun and memorable experience! Explore the waters in the Crucecita area with a friendly crew that is dedicated to showing you the best time on the waves.
For your angling adventure, you'll come aboard the 'Shark' – their 24' Imemsa saltwater fisher, rigged with a 70 HP Yamaha engine. The vessel can sit up 5 people. A great advantage of this boat is that it has a ramp which makes it wheelchair accessible, and if there's a wheelchair on board, up to 4 people can fit nicely and fish in full comfort.
Because you'll be facing off the giants of the deep, there's a fighting chair on board to help you bring your prey to the boat. With outriggers to extend your fishing reach, a live bait well, and a fishfinder to take you to the best spots, you're fully equipped for a successful fishing day.
Capt. Kevin will provide top-of-the-line Penn and Shimano gear that you'll use to battle your catch, as well as live bait and lures to get its attention. Snorkeling is also an option, but you should let your captain know in advance that you want to do it, and he'll organize everything for a small additional cost.
On your to-catch list are all the prized fish of the saltwater realm – Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, and Tuna. You can find them in the local waters all year and if you hook a big one, getting them into the boat will be the ultimate challenge and a thrill.
The crew will clean and fillet whatever you decide to keep, and if you're happy with their services, tips are always appreciated.
You can come with your family or your fishing buddies, and kids of all ages are welcome too, as long as they're supervised. All you need for your trip is a fishing license, food, and sunscreen, everything else is taken care of.

Full Day Trip on March 19, 2026 • 2 adultsGreat day of fishing with the Shark boat and captain Kevin. Kevin was very knowledgeable and very informative on what they were doing and looking for. For those that don’t speak Spanish his English was very good and was able to answer all of our questions and give us concise instructions as this was our first time fishing for large offshore warm water fish. When a marlin tail was spotted Kevin was able to get the boat turned around and put our bait inform of the marlin. I landed a 7.5 foot (2.3 m) stripped marlin. Definitely a catch of a life time. As a bonus we landed quite a few smaller Mahi-mahi fish as well as sea turtles and too many dolphins with some up so close you can almost touch them.

Full Day Trip on January 9, 2025 • 3 adultsDid two consecutive days on shark boat with Xavier and Tito as guide and first mate They were knowledgeable when it came to fishing and knew the game down here We got a good 8 ft sail ok day one and a seven on day two Missed a hook up on one Marlin and almost had a dorado Saw whales and hundreds of dolphins and the rays were putting on quite the show Two great mornings with these guys and I’ll fish with them again next year for sure

Offshore fishing & Bays Tour on October 14, 2023 • 2 adultsMy husband and I did a full day with Kevin (and Tito) on his new boat and it was wonderful. We spent the morning fishing and the afternoon going through the bays. He was knowledgeable about the area, pointed out wildlife, knew where to go for fish and provided good communication. When our trip was done he provided transportation and someone to meet us from a restaurant where we sat on the beach while the restraunt prepared our Durado 3 different ways which was amazing. We were very happy with our booking choice on the shark boat!

Full Day Trip on February 7, 2023 • 2 adultsHad a great day of fishing with Capt Kevin. We caught 4 mahi mahi and 1 sailfish. Day started off great with 2 mahi right away. We hit a lull for a few hours, but captain Kevin kept us entertained. There was so much marine life activity and he explained everything we saw and pointed out everything. They worked very hard looking for fish. We hooked about 6 sailfish and every time they jumped they spit out the hook, but we eventually snagged one! Also they were extremely punctual and we were on the water ahead of schedule, also packed us some delicious sandwiches and drinks! 5 stars and highly recommend. Thanks for an amazing day! The one picture is a fox shark. Very cool that literally every fish was jumping all day!

Full Day Trip on April 6, 2023 • 2 adultsBooked Fishing with Capt Keven on the Shark Boat ? Went out and tried fishing ? with a steep 6' swell offshore and 20 kt winds...... We decided it was to rough and opted for site seeing and lunch at a locals beach ⛱️. Kevin and Pita showed us a fun day snorkeling beautiful reefs and put us on the beach for some of the best seafood ?. What a fabulous day despite unfavorable fishing weather. I will book again when the weather permits. These Guys are Great ?? Hammerhead ????

Full Day Trip on July 24, 2022 • 2 adultsCapt. Kevin responded to all messages I sent very promptly. He picked me up from my hotel to bring me to the boat. I mentioned I wanted to target Dorado and we did well. We boated 8 Dorado with this nice bull as one of them and had numerous other strikes. We also had great sailfish action. We had a double up on sailfish. The one broke of on spinning gear. It was amazing watching the fish jump numerous times and then we caught the other on heavier gear. We had a total of 5 sailfish follow and hit at our baits that I saw, I think Captain Kevin said there were more. Captain Kevin’s first mate was very good and attentive taking photos and videos of my sailfish, I believe his name was Alex. I would highly recommend this boat. Great day on the water.

Great day of fishing with the Shark boat and captain Kevin. Kevin was very knowledgeable and very informative on what they were doing and looking for. we had a great boat ride. didnt catch anything. saw some dolphins and a couple sting rays. I would ask the captain what they are catching and where before you go out. i would possibly try a half day closer to shore than a full day off shore. i know fishing is hit or miss but with my giudes back home, they always recommend where we should go becasue thats where the fish are.
