Huatulco Fishing Adventures is your key to some fantastic deep sea fishing in Mexico. Novice to beginner, the crew will put everyone on top of a hot fish. Captain Neri Pinacho lives and breathes the lifestyle of fishing. Be careful when stepping on board – soon you will return to the shore with some outstanding catches and won’t stop thinking about it for many months to come.

You will go out aboard the “Omega,” which is a 35’ Bertram convertible boat. Fully upgraded in 2016, it is fine-tuned to put you in the hottest place to get your hooks busy. It comes powered by twin 210 HP Cummins engines and is fully equipped with top-notch navigational electronics. Inside and outside, up to 15 guests will find ample space. The Omega features a flybridge to aid your search for the fish, along with a fighting chair for you to butt heads with big ones.

Enjoy a half or full day trip, trolling, spinning, or jigging for Mahi-Mahi, Black Marlin, Blue Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna, and Sailfish. The crew uses circle hooks so once hooked, the fish must be played very carefully. Fishing for Marlin and Sailfish is catch-and-release. And if you’re feeling adventurous, take a dip in the beautiful waters on a snorkeling tour or enjoy one of the world’s best sunsets!

All trips with Capt. Neri come with a license, Penn and Shimano rods, reels, tackle, and lures. When you return to the shore, your part of the catch will be cleaned and filleted for you. Just bring some appropriate clothes, your favorite food and drinks.

Fished with the crew of the Omega in January 2024. My wife and I have fished on other charters before but had two other couples with us who had never been out on a trip like this. Hotel pick up was right on time, crew was ready to go when we arrived at the marina and the boat and gear was in great shape. Got out before sunrise, awesome views. That time of year was hoping to get into mahi-mahi, and maybe a sailfish if we were lucky. First fish was a beautiful bull mahi (a bucket list fish for me). Then things really got exciting, next fish was a huge striped marlin, something we were not even expecting, and the man in the fishing chair had never landed anything bigger than maybe a 16 inch bass back home. After landing that one it was less than an hour when another stripped marlin hit and another novice fought so hard his reeling hand blistered. Crew was fantastic in teaching and all fish that we hooked up got into the boat successfully. Fishing slow down after that but the crew kept working hard and trying different baits. In the meantime we watched hundreds of dolphins play under and around the boat, also saw several sea turtles and barely missed seeing a whale but got to see the giant splash it left. Always hopeful that everyone gets a chance to fight a Fish, but after seeing the fish come in the ladies decided they probably could not have real them in themselves. Overall a great trip.

After a long journey of several hours that involved a 5-hour flight and traveling 13 hours through some of the most beautiful landscapes of Oaxaca from Mexico City, I arrived at my destination in Huatulco. The captain sent me an itinerary days before my fishing day with all the details and recommendations for an exceptional day. It's not easy to write these brief lines when what I'm trying to describe is much more than a simple fishing trip, but rather a whole life experience. Huatulco is beautiful and the captain, along with his entire crew, went above and beyond to give us first-class service. The first hours were light tackle fishing where my family had the opportunity to fish for the first time. Once we headed out into the Pacific Ocean, we managed to catch bigger fish. Thanks to the captain's experience, that day we landed 2 sailfish, 2 mahi mahi and tuna. Following proper ethics, the sailfish were successfully released back to the sea without any issues. It was 8 hours of great experience with my family. I highly recommend the service of Yacht Omega, Captain Adolfo, and his mates Salo and another guy whose name I unfortunately don't remember. All 3 constantly made sure to treat us cordially and ensure we received 5-star service. The day after fishing, the guys took us to a restaurant in one of the bays where we were able to enjoy the fish we caught the previous day. I can say that by the end of the day we made friendships with Captain Adolfo and Salo. Thank you for the beautiful memories. Huatulco will be our regular travel destination. Thank you! Everything about this tour was excellent - pick up/drop off was on time & direct, friendly & knowledgeable staff and captain, clear communication, saw dolphins and sea turtles & caught a Mahi Mahi, despite only being out for a short time. Highly recommend!!
