You’ll explore the West Coast of Vancouver Island aboard a 24.5’ Rouge Coastal fishing boat, powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine and 15 HP high thrust trolling kicker. She’s got enough room for 4 anglers to fish comfortably under cover and protected from the weather. You’ll have peace of mind thanks to the latest in safety gear and GPS equipment.
Get ready to target a variety of West Coast legends including Chinook (King) and Coho (Silver) Salmon, Halibut, Ling Cod, and Rockfish in the rugged and beautiful waters of the Nootka Sound and Esperanza Inlet! You’ll troll, drift fish, and bottom fish depending on what your targets are. Plus, there’s the priceless opportunity to fully emerge in the natural habitat of abundant and special wildlife.
Capt. James takes care of all your gear and provides top-notch rods, reels, and tackle. He can even bring along fly fishing equipment if you let him know in advance. Bottled water and soft drinks are also on board, but you’ll have to bring enough food and drinks to keep you going throughout the trip. Again, Capt. James can help out with finding room and board if you’d like. Lastly, don’t forget to pick up fishing licenses for your party beforehand.
