Captain James Fisher has been fishing for more than 40 year years. He's privileged to be the owner of Fishers Island Adventures, running out of beautiful Vancouver Island, BC. At a young age, he learned that patience and passion are required for a serious commitment to fishing. Along the way, he also discovered that it's a hell of a lot of fun! He's been fortunate enough to fish on every continent and share his passion with people all over the world. Sustainability is a big deal for Capt. James too. While it's fun to catch big fish, he also strongly believes in the importance of preserving the fishery for future generations.

    Amazing.

    Multi-day Trip – 4 Days/3 Nights • 1 adult

    It only took 5 minutes to put us on the Chinook A double header to start. Limit on springs within 45 minutes. Ende up catch an realease for the next hour. Way to go James. Best trip of my life

    Full Day Trip – Comox/Courtenay

    Wow, what an amazing day we had out on the water with James!! Not only did we catch several gorgeous salmon, but we got to hear all kinds of fun stories, and see marine life including harbour seals and countless sunbathing sea lions! James is professional, friendly and puts you at ease immediately in the boat. He was very encouraging of our group of new fishers. Unforgettable experience! Thanks James!

    3rd great year with James Fisher

    Don't bother looking further. James is simply the best. He's smart, very safety conscious, fun to fish with and knows Nootka Sound inside out. Great boat always in perfect condition. You will catch fish, likely lots of fish, and the area is stunningly beautiful. It is telling that other guides in the area respect James. And his rates are reasonable.
