At the moment, his trips are available early spring, from March, till the second week of May. Spend a relaxing day, far from the big city's hustle and bustle.
This is more than just a fishing trip, as you'll get to experience the Alentejo region in many different ways. Enjoy the delicious food and wine this area is known for. You can stay longer, since the captain can arrange the accommodation as well.
Capt. Russel specializes in fly fishing and spinning. You'll mainly target Carp, Barbel, Shad, Black Bass, Zander, and Mullet. You don't need to be an avid angler to enjoy this trip, so come even if you've never fished before. It's about the experience, not how much fish you get in your cooler. In certain areas, you can also catch fish at night.
You'll be fishing on a 10' airboat. Since the boat isn't very spacious, the capacity is limited to only 2 guests. This simple boat provides a safe and stable ride, and also features a 70 HP engine, a fish finder, and a cooler for your catch.
Your fishing equipment and licenses are fully covered. Capt. Russel also cleans your catch free of charge. Just bring some snacks and drinks for the boat.

Free cancellation up to 14 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 14 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 20% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
