Hop aboard his 24' Grady White offshore sport fishing boat. She can easily accommodate up to 4 anglers, with 2 to 3 able to fish at the same time for Salmon, and 4 able to jig for Halibut. You'll troll using the downriggers and make good use of the latest in GPS and Fish Finder technology. There's even a private toilet on board so you won't have to make stops.

You can catch Chinook in Ucluelet all year long and in the summertime, when the migratory fish run through, there are literally millions of fish to hook. You'll barely have time to take a break as you troll for your limits.

The same goes for Halibut. You can catch it year-round but peak season lasts from May to September. Jigging is king when it comes to hooking these delicious flatfish. Depending on how far out you head you'll hook them at between 15 and 200 pounds!

Capt. Kirk provides top-notch Shimano gear and frozen live bait to up your chances at hooking your limits. He's also happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day for easy transport home. Bring along a cooler with enough drinks and snacks to keep you going and don't forget to pick up a B.C fishing license before you head out!

Fishing with Kirk
Half Day Trip (PM) – Prime Season on August 17, 20202 adults2 children

As a half day 4hr trip, we started at 3pm and went to the other side of Ucluelet. It was at near low tide and was not the best time to catch fish but Capt. Kirk did his best and caught two Springs 22-25lb decent size. My son missed one so it could have been three. Capt. Kirk has all the equipments for fishing and did his best but the season has not been great. Next time i would go for Halibut with Capt. Kirk.
