Explore the blue waters and diverse coral reefs in the Red Sea with Blue Bird Charter! Captain Karim is a jigging and popping specialist who will take your Egyptian vacation to the next level. If you're a passionate angler looking for an action-packed day this is the one for you!
You'll head out abroad Capt. Karim's 35' locally made center console. She's perfectly suited for 4 anglers who all want to fish at the same time and is powered by twin 250 HP Yamaha v6 engines. A private onboard toilet ensures you'll be comfortable without having to make any stops. Adventure seekers can even opt to spend the night on board in sleeping bags provided by the crew.
The Red Sea is home to over 200 fish species but most anglers come for the Yellowfin Tuna. From January to June these delicious fish will have your rods bent constantly! There's also plenty of Mahi Mahi, Swordfish and Sailfish to keep things exciting.
Be sure to take advantage of the snorkeling equipment provided on board, too. There are enough masks and fins for everyone to take a dive into the Red Sea and swim with the diverse marine life that calls these waters home.
You'll also have top-notch fishing gear at your disposal for a $75 rental fee, per set. Capt. Karim is happy to clean and fillet your catch (up to 10 kg) and there's even an onboard grill you can use to prepare it! Sandwiches will be provided for breakfast and salad and a light lunch are served in the afternoon. There's also fresh juice, water, coffee, and tea so you don't need to worry about a thing.

So how do I write a review saying what a great day I had when I only caught1tiny fish. Especially after promising to provide a fish packed video for our YouTube channel Anstey Sea Anglers.
The thing is. We did have a fantastic day.
The skipper was amazing and tried every trick in the book (including Praying 🙏) to put us on the fish.
He was constantly showing us on the sounder that there were fish below us. But we just couldn't entice them to bite.
We had paid for a five hour trip but in his endeavour to get us fish we stayed out over seven hours at no extra charge.
Even after saying 'that's it, we have to head back now' we still stopped to have one last try as we passed over yet more fish.
On this drift I actually hooked into my first decent fish of the day but lost it after about 20 seconds. So we went around for 1 more last try.
This time I had the hardest bite I've ever felt but unfortunately in less than 3 seconds it was gone. Taking my jig with it.
That's fishing for you.
Would I go with Khaled again?
Oh yes 100%. In fact I can't wait to return to Hurghada to try again.
To catch that fish that still has my lure 🎣

it was a great trip. i went with my 16 year old son and we had a wonderful day from 7 am til afternoon. stunning sunrise in the morning. we had everything on board what we needed. food, drinks, fresh fruits. although it was windy we caught great fishes. captain and crew were very pleasent and nice. thanks a lot, we'll be back. boris & hiro

I can highly recommend the Blue Bird charter for a fishing trip on the Red Sea. The boat was very comfortable, they had plenty of food & drinks for us, and best of all they were excellent fisherman. We caught 6 tuna on a 5 hour afternoon trip. I would recommend them and will return myself.
