Special-Eyes Charters – Port Clinton
Join Special-Eyes Charters on an exciting adventure in Port Clinton! The captain has been fishing Lake Erie his entire life and knows all the best spots to get you hooked up. He caters his trips to all types of anglers, from novice to pro, and all ages are welcome as well.
You'll be fishing from a 30' Cherokee hardtop sportfisher, powered by twin 300 HP Crusader engines. The boat is equipped with a GPS, fishfinder, VHF radio, radar, as well as top-quality tackle, outriggers, downriggers, a fridge, a toilet, and a cooler for drinks. She accommodates up to 6 guests and everyone can fish comfortably at the same time.
You'll be fishing the Walleye Capital of the World, so naturally, your main target is Walleye. Lake Erie is filled with many other exciting species as well, including Freshwater Drum, Yellow Perch, and Largemouth Bass. You'll have plenty of opportunities to reel in an A-lister and the captain will provide as much assistance as you need.
The captain starts casting jigs as soon as late March and early April and continues this type of 'rod-in-hand' fishing all year long. You can switch up the technique and change from jigs to casting harnesses as the waters start to warm up.
You'll also be able to troll, especially if the lake is calm. The captain and his crew will make every effort to take care of your wishes and customize your trip based on your preferences.
You'll be provided with nothing but the finest gear, as well as live bait and high-performance lures. All you need to do is pick up a fishing license before your trip, pack extra layers of clothing, and bring your own snacks and drinks.
Your next Great Lakes adventure awaits. So pack your bags, start planning your trip, and join Special Eyes in Port Clinton for an exciting journey on Lake Erie!

Had a great day catching our limit of Walleye. Capt Dave and Diane took care of us. Capt Dave gave us options of casting or trolling for the Eyes. We chose to cast since we never fished for walleye using that method. It was great and the equipment was top notch. We were on the fish in 15 minutes. Looking forward to booking again with Capt Dave as he moves his boats to Ashtabula for the remainder of the summer. Thanks for a great day!
Thank you for the kind words! You and your boys were great fishermen. The boys were also very polite. Very glad you enjoyed your day! See you again soon.

Great experience. Capt. Dale and crew are the best at finding walleye and you will normally limit out before the charter is scheduled to be over. While I haven't fished with the other captains that are part of Special-Eyes, I'm sure they will also provide a great experience. All equipment is top-notch and the crew make the charter enjoyable. You don't go from a 1 boat operation to a 4 boat operation unless you're doing something right and Special-Eyes Charters does it right.
Than you for the kind words, all of our Captains are top notch.

What an absolutely great day and experience we had with Special-Eyes Charters!!! The boat and equipment were all top notch, our capt. was very knowledgeable and boy did he put us on the fish!! They took care of everything, all we did was show up and catch fish!! I highly recommend Special-Eyes Charters and we cant wait to get out with them again!!
What a great day, so happy we could be a part of this. Always great when kids come.
We had a great time with Special-Eyes Charters. We took a trip with Captain Ron for my friends bachelor party. We arrived early and went right out onto the lake to catch our limit for the day. We caught fish quickly and we limited out quick. We would definitely recommend to others to fish with Special-Eyes Charters!
Glad you enjoyed your day, see you again this summer!!

Our family has been fishing with Captain Dale and first mate Dianne for many years. They are knowledgeable and prices are fair. Even though I have a boat docked on Lake Erie we still booked a couple trips a year. If you're looking for a outfit that knows where to find the fish and can show you a good time give Soecial Eyes a try.
Thank you for all the years of fishing with us. See you again in a few months.
