Fishing has this wonderful tendency to be both extremely calming and a total rush of adrenaline. Sudden Strike Offshore Adventures understand this really well and they’ll melt your stress away with some reel-screaming action offshore!

Join Captain Scott Housel aboard his 31’ Contender. She’s a center console, meaning there’s plenty of room to move around for you and up to 6 of your fishing buddies. You won’t be sluggish, as there are twin 300 HP Suzuki engines – you can cruise at a maximum speed of 52 knots.

Capt. Scott will take you after some of the most prestigious and toughest fish off the coast of Florida. Get ready to troll for Kingfish, Sailfish, Blue Marlin, and Mahi Mahi, helped by the onboard outriggers. If you want to troll deeper waters, just use the downriggers provided as well. Anglers who prefer live bait will be happy to know that there’s a live bait well onboard – your baitfish won’t get floppy!

You’ll also hit underwater reefs and wrecks, both natural and man-made, where Groupers and Snappers are bountiful. If you’re a spearfisherman Capt. Scott will take you to red-hot waters, but that’s only for advanced anglers.

The captain will supply you with all the necessary fishing gear, as well as drinks to keep your energy up. There’s no minimum age for kids but parents should contact the captain in advance so he can prepare smaller vests. You are encouraged to release all Billfish, though you can keep it if you want (and if it falls within local regulations).

Really good relaxing half day with good fishing and crew.

The whole trip was great. The pick up and instructions to the dock were good, even an English tourist could find it! Capt. Scott and crew Travis were very helpful and chatty from the off, very informative. The boat and equipment was great and well explained. Being novices to this type of fishing the experience was amazing all 4 off us enjoyed the half day trip. Capt. Scott and Travis explained techniques very well and were very patient with a bunch of novices, we all caught fish and had a throughly good outing. Would definitely book again on the next Florida visit, thanks guys for a great day.

An amazing trip with my 3 kids, 16,14, and 12. Caught tons of fish and sharks ; would recommend Scott to anyone looking for a true professional who knows what he’s doing and relates well with his customers. We had an absolutely amazing time with Captain Steve! Our family enjoyed every moment—he made sure each of us, including my girls, caught multiple fish of different varieties. Fantastic Day

We were in town for our daughter's graduation. (2) of my daughters went fishing with us. Which was the 1st time ever for both. Everyone caught fish. Some pretty large. A couple of 5'-6' sharks. Captain Scott was awesome an awesome guide. Putting us on fish right away. He did a great job with instruction on how to use the gear and advise on how to set the hook. He is very knowledgeable and a great guide for the highly experienced as well as the novice fisherman. We will be back!
