At Over Under Outfitters, they've been fishing the Matagorda Bay Complex for most of their lifetime and know about the connection that can occur when a man goes out on the water. If you're looking for an adventure, trying to upgrade your personal best catch, or just trying to fill up your freezer, book your trip and they'll help you along the way.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Black Drum, and whatever else takes the bait. For these species, you're likely to cast a popping cork using light tackle. You'll be casting lines from a 24' Bay boat with space for 5 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Kids are welcome aboard.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Don't forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Great communication! Captain Andrew kept us informed, via text the day before and the morning of the trip. He was on time and had us on the water quickly. The fishing started a little slow, but it didn't take long for 'Over Under' to put us on the FISH! Captain Andrew's personality, knowledge and equipment made this a wonderful experience. Upon returning to the dock, He quickly cleaned our fish and even recommended a local restaurant, that would prepare our catch! Highly recommend this Captain's guiding service. We had a great time! The captain was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the trip. I brought my 6-year-old, and he was fantastic with kids, making the experience fun and educational. The boat was very nice, and he kept the ride smooth and comfortable the entire time. He also cleaned our fish and did an amazing job with the fillets—better than I ever do myself! I learned a lot on this trip, and we'll definitely be booking another trip with him. Highly recommend!
We caught more fish than anyone that came back to the harbor today and it was proven that Jordan was a great guide.
Another great trip! Despite suboptimal windy conditions that kept us off our usual flats, Capt. Jordan adjusted well and got us on the fish.
This was our (wife, daughter, and myself) time doing this type of fishing. Capt. Jordan did a great job. lots of fun was had.
