At Over Under Outfitters, they've been fishing the Matagorda Bay Complex for most of their lifetime and know about the connection that can occur when a man goes out on the water. If you're looking for an adventure, trying to upgrade your personal best catch, or just trying to fill up your freezer, book your trip and they'll help you along the way.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Flounder, Tripletail, Black Drum, and whatever else takes the bait. For these species, you're likely to cast a popping cork using light tackle. You'll be casting lines from a 24' Bay boat with space for 5 passengers. Rods, reels, and tackle are included, along with lures. Kids are welcome aboard.
You might need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Don't forget to bring snacks, drinks, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor and glass bottles.

Having fun fishing
6 Hour Trip – Drifting or Wading on March 27, 2024 • 2 adultsMy son, father-in-law, and I had a great time fishing with Captain Jordan. We caught several redfish, trout, and black drum (and one flounder). Jordan was great at finding good fishing spots in the East Bay. He knew the fishing sizes and limits that we could keep. Even though the trip went a little longer than expected, Captain Jordan took the time to fillet all fish caught. We recommend Captain Jordan for your fishing trip experience.

We had a great time! The captain was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job explaining everything throughout the trip. I brought my 6-year-old, and he was fantastic with kids, making the experience fun and educational. The boat was very nice, and he kept the ride smooth and comfortable the entire time. He also cleaned our fish and did an amazing job with the fillets—better than I ever do myself! I learned a lot on this trip, and we'll definitely be booking another trip with him. Highly recommend!
