Peninsula Sportfishing – Kenai and Kasilof
Visit the stunning Alaskan waters on the Kenai Peninsula, and enjoy a day of fishing with Peninsula Sportfishing. A local and professional guide, Guide Jared Lindquist has over 20 years of fishing experience in the area, and 11 years of guiding. He welcomes all types of anglers, and he’ll make sure you have an amazing day on the water with his knowledge and expertise of the area.
Jared will take you out on his 20’ Alumaweld aluminum fishing boat, powered by a 50 HP Yamaha engine – perfect for fishing the waters of the Kenai River. The boat can take up to 4 anglers, and it features a fishfinder to help put you on the fish and an ice box. It’s equipped with life jackets and all safety gear required by the Coast Guard.
The waters are very prolific, and they hold some of the biggest trout and salmon in North America. Depending on the time of year, you could be fishing for 4 out of the 5 Salmon species – King Salmon, Silver Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, and Pink Salmon! Monster Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden fishing are a favorite as well. Based on the captain’s recommendation, you will fish on either Kenai or Kasilof River.
Your guide will provide you with all the fishing equipment necessary to give you the best chances at every species on the river – the highest quality in rods, reels, bait, and tackle. Jared runs all types of rods to fit every skill level or preference. It doesn’t matter if you conventional, spin or fly fish, he will have you covered for a variety of techniques.
At the end of the trip, Jared will clean and fillet your catch for you, so you can take it straight to the table upon your return home. Feel free to bring your kids along and show them how fun fishing can be, making some great memories. All you have to do is buy a fishing license before the trip, bring some rain gear, food, and drinks, and you’re all set!
Join Peninsula Sportfishing and let them show you a great time fishing on the Alaskan Kenai and Kasilof River!
