Gaf Adventures – Maputo 

Gaf Adventures is a fishing charter based in Maputo, that’s as versatile as the waters of Mozambique. They have a fleet available for all kinds of fishing trips, year round. The boat you’ll be fishing from is “Nuzaan”, a 30’ Butt Cat that accommodates up to 6 guests. She’s equipped with new navigational electronics and night lights for the longest of sessions. This custom built catamaran is powered by twin 200 HP Suzuki engines that provide a smooth and fast ride to your fishing spot.

The trip starts with a dry launch, after which you’ll head out to the offshore spots. These waters were made for big game fish, so you’ll have plenty of trophies to target. Go after several types of Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Tuna, Wahoo, or Mackerel. Since the trip lasts for 12 hours, you’ll have enough time to switch between different fishing spots, change your approach, or decide to take on another target.

The crew will provide you with Shimano equipment and everything will be ready even before you arrive at the boat. They will also clean your catch if you’re planning to enjoy a tasty dinner with fish delicacies. Make sure to get your fishing license and pack your food and drinks for the day.
