An avid angler since the age of 15, he's been fishing for over 50 years now, and knows all the tricks of the trade. He promises to do whatever he can to make sure you get the most out of these rich waters, so settle in to land all the fish you've ever dreamed of.
Not only will you have an experienced captain, but the purpose-built 24' Hurricane deck boat will carry you smoothly to all the fishing grounds. She boasts a 102' beam, allowing plenty of space to cast, two fishing seats, a power pole, and trolling motor. Hit up the skinniest of waters and get your fish on against some truly spooky fish.
Whatever you target, you're in for a thrilling adventure, as these waters are home to some tough-fighting monsters. Settle in to do battle as you bottom fish to entice the bite of Bull Redfish, strong Snook, tough Trout, and some smaller beauties like Sheepshead and Tripletail. If you're lucky, you may even land a Tarpon or a Shark!
You'll mainly be practicing catch and release, but you'll also be able to take a couple of tasty creatures home. Just make sure to bring an ice box to keep your catch fresh. Other than that, you'll need to pack some drinks and snacks, and don't forget to bring a camera to snap those long-lasting memories.

Half Day Trip on March 29, 2022 • 3 adults • 1 childWhat a great day. My boys (age 11 and 13) both caught a 8-10 pound shark each. It was amazing. We caught a bunch of other fish, and saw a dolphin right by the boat. Captain Dan was so laid back and kind, and we had such a great time. His boat is nice and he told us a lot about the area and we got out into the gulf and that is where we caught the two big sharks. We will be back next year to see him again.

Half Day Trip on December 26, 2021 • 4 adultsWe had a great trip out to the Gulf today! The weather was perfect, the boat was roomy and comfortable, and Captain Dan was great! He took us to several spots to try to catch a variety of fish and even a shark! We even saw dolphins, gators, and a huge ray jump out of the water! The ride into the Gulf was simply stunning. Captain Dan was helpful and gracious when we tried to catch “monkey fish” and “oyster fish” with a few hooks. We would recommend this trip to anyone looking to have an enjoyable, laid back fish trip.

Half Day Trip on March 30, 2021 • 5 adults • 3 childrenBoat was very comfortable and had a large canopy to keep us out of the sun. Captain Dan knew where the good fishing holes were and customized our trip to do the things we wanted to do. Checked all the boxes: saw alligators, walked on secluded beach, saw Marco Island, and caught a bunch of fish! We brought our three young girls and they did great and improved their fishing abilities. Captain Dan was very encouraging and helped a lot. Definitely recommend this trip and Captain Dan! Also, wear long sleeves, pants, hat, etc.

Half Day Trip on April 5, 2021 • 3 adults • 1 childThe Hurricane deckboat is well equipped and very comfortable for a group with ample seating. The boat itself is more stable than a standard center console. We hit several fishing holes and then even stopped on a beach and swung by the dome homes. Captain Dan is relaxed and friendly, (even after we fouled a line and dropped a reel into the water). It was an excellent day all around and we will return! Off to fish dinner of fresh trout Kingfish.

It was nice to have some shade, We heard all week from fellow hotel guests and fishermen on the beach that the fish were not biting this week. We caught about ten sea creatures - bonnethead shark, sting ray, couple of jack, several catfish. The action could have been better but it was still an enjoyable day on the water. We went in Ten Thousand Islands and just barely into the Gulf. If it was less windy, we could have gone further into the Gulf. Capt Dan was super nice and entertaining enough to make it fun. Would definitely go with him again.

It was a perfect sunny day. Although we had lots of imaginary giant fish that got away, we also have bragging rights to titles like the most catfish ever caught on the trip and the biggest thing ever caught (the boat). Half Day Trip on April 8, 2021 • 5 adults • 1 childC Dan as we call him:) Did a great job. The best part was he had a canopy on the boat to protect us from the hot sun. We were already sun burnt. If he did not have that we would baked and ended the charter well before our allotted time. We caught a lot of fish. My granddaughter had an excellent time and reeled in her first fishES on her now. Dan was attentive and helped Haiden out a lot. Haiden was casting her own reel by the end of the day. So was my wife. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the fish we caught. It was quiet and very relaxing. If you just want a day of fishing and relaxation this is your man. Great job C Dan.

The boat is super comfortable and equipped with modern motor and anchoring technology to hold the boat steady in moving waters. Hooked a wide variety of fish including trout, snapper, catfish, and kingfish. Capt. Dan knows the local waters well and provided a wide variety of opportunities within the 10,000 Island waters and open Gulf. Dan was patient, polite, and good company.
