There's hardly a better way to explore the waters of St. Claire Lake than to take a trip with Long Line Charters. The charter is operated by Captain Eric who's been fishing the waters of Michigan his whole life. Cathing northern fish species is his specialty and he even won a Salmon tournament in 2017.
Let Capt. Eric take you on his 31' Stamas offshore boat. This fishing machine has enough room for 6 guests to join. Since trolling is the main technique you'll be using, you'll fish in turns. The boat is powered by twin 290 HP Mercury engines and has an enclosed cabin with air-conditioning. You'll also find a private toilet and a basic kitchen on board too.
The main target on each trip is Muskie but there are other fish you can catch here, such as Walleye, Northern Pike, and Smallmouth Bass. Even though trolling is the best way to go after them, you can also try spinning.
Kids are welcome to join as long as they can hold a rod. Capt. Eric hopes he can teach every guest how to fish and that includes the little ones too. It's never too early to learn a new skill and express the adventurous side of them.
You'll be provided with different brands of professional fishing equipment and the captain will also clean your catch. Make sure to purchase your fishing license and bring some snacks and drinks for the day.

What a great trip for my 10 year old son and I. The guys knew where to take us to get the fish and my son caught 4 Walleye and 6 big small mouth bass. Great trip and we will be back. Thanks for the great trip guys!!!
