Captain Jose Luis has been fishing in the area for decades and he's the right person to get you on fish. Whether you're hoping to break your personal record or to catch your first fish, you're welcome!
Join the captain on his 35' Wellcraft boat. This fishing machine accommodated up to 6 anglers and 4 people can fish at the same time. The boat has everything you need for a full day of comfort – a lounge area, lots of seating space, a kitchen, and a private toilet. To make your battles easier, you'll also find a fighting chair aboard, ready to support you when you're after the biggest fish out there.
There are no small fish on this trip, only big game! Some of your targets are Wahoo, Barracuda, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and all kids of Marlin. Nothing here is an easy catch, so you'll need to use all of your strength. At the end of the trip, you'll have a trophy you'll be proud of!
You can keep all catches except for Marlin and Sailfish and the crew will clean them for you. You'll be provided with Shimano and Penn rods, a variety of lures, snacks, and drinks. On full day trips, you'll also have sandwiches. You only need to bring your sun protection and a camera.

captain very good and boat was really nice. first mates worked really hard. nothing trolling so captain got us on bottom fishing deep. caught 20 sh red snappers . supper was great

Capt Jose took me to the fish. Mate Jose II, as he calls himself , Didn't stop changing bait, watching lines and we never lost a fish that got off a hook.

Extraordinary Experience on the Makaira with Captain Jose Luis

My son and I had the best fishing experience ever. Although the weather was not at all the best, the Captain and the crew (both by the name of José) gave 120% so we had a very good fishing experience. We catched 4 Mahi Mahi and a Barracuda. There is no doubt that the next time I am in Cozumel I will contact Captain José Luis to take us fishing again.

Wow! What a great day! Very nice boat, with a working head, and excellent equipment. The crew was busy getting lines in the water the minute we left the harbor. Enjoyed the banter with the crew; they kept things entertaining. We had a 6 hour trip of deep sea and bottom fishing.
Fishing, lunch and beverages were awesome. Especially loved the fresh fruit. The captain recommended a restaurant to cook our fish, La Monina. We took a 15 minute walk from the harbor and had them cook some of our fish. Incredible!!!!! Can't say enough about the staff at La Monina either!

This time of year is pretty slow from hearing other people that been out fishing on our hotel we stayed at. We caught some amberjack and barracuda. Our kids had a great time. Jose and Jose were great and appreciate then for putting us on some fish.
