You'll be fishing on a 17' Maverick boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. As fly fishing doesn't allow crowded boats, the space is reserved for a few people who can commit completely to this technique. The boat is powered by a 70 HP Yamaha engine and features GPS, 2 coolers, and a live bait tank.
Choose between fly fishing and spinning, whatever feels better for you. You'll be able to target Redfish, Snook, Permit, Bonefish, and the Silver King – Tarpon. You can release or keep the catch within regulations. In case you're a fan of fish fillets, the captain will clean the catch for you.
Your fishing license and equipment are fully covered. The price covers your fly fishing gear too, but feel free to bring your own if you want. Pack some snacks and drinks and you're ready to go. You'll need a sharp eyesight to notice silver fish in the flats, so don't forget polarized sunglasses and a hat.

Full Day Trip on March 17, 2024 • 1 adultFished a full day yesterday with Captain Dan. Booking through Fishing Booker was seamless. Communication with Dan excellent. Dan's boat and equipment were excellent. Fly rods, reels, and lines were the highest quality and very well maintained. Dan knew the Keys area well and put me on fish right away. In the morning we had shots at juvenile tarpon, snook, and even a few red fish. Was able to land a small tarpon and won the battle with a snook under the mangroves. In the afternoon we set out for larger, adult tarpon. Dan found them right away and I had at least four separate shots at fish that may have been in the 80# range but couldn't convert... my fault, NOT the captain's! Dan worked hard and went all day. He was knowledgeable, patient, and polite. I would recommend him to anyone interested in a fly fishing trip to the Florida Keys.

When we were in an area with no bites for a few minutes, Dan would fire up the boat and move us to a better area. We used three different techniques and caught quite a few different species of fish. We've been on a few fishing trips during our vacation lifetimes. Dan is one of the best guides we've had. Extremely knowledgeable and personable.

Half Day Trip (AM) on February 22, 2022 • 2 adults • 1 childMy son and I had a great experience with Capt. Dan. He was extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to have for our charter experience. All his rods and reel combos were all new, and up to date. We had tough conditions the day we went out, but Capt. Dan was still able to put us on the fish, and made our trip a success. I would recommend him, and if we are in the area again we will definitely be booking another charter with him.
