+15Prime Time II Sport Fishing is at your service! Meet your guide, Capt. Steve Beer, who operates out of Wildwood Crest, NJ. You can find him on the water any day between May and late September. Capt. Steve runs fishing trips that are suitable for angler of any skill level. You don’t have to be a lifelong enthusiast to have a great day on the water.
Join your captain on his 35’ Maine Coaster that accommodates up to 6 guests. The boat is powered by a mighty 450 HP Cummins engine, to ensure you a safe and comfortable ride. There’s an enclosed cabin with lots of seating space, a private toilet, and plenty of deck room for battling huge fish.
Your catch depends on the time of year. The season usually opens with specialized Drum trips and progresses to trolling for Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Spanish Mackerel. But it doesn’t end there! You can also try spinning, bottom, and deep sea fishing for Flounder, Striped Bass, Bluefish, and Shark.
Capt. Steeve will provide you with Shimano and Penn fishing equipment and bait. If you want to keep the catch for a meal, the first mate will clean and fillet it for you free of charge (but tips are always appreciated). Feel free to bring snacks, drinks, and sunscreen.

Capt Steve and Mate Jerry were excellent and used the knowledge and tips they had to help coach us and adjust to maximize our chances. The boat was clean and comfortable, and when we did hook up they did a great job helping to land handle and clean fish.

4 Hour Trolling Trip (AM) on July 8, 2024
We had a fantastic time on the Prime Time II with Captain Steve and mate Jerry. They were very friendly and super knowledgeable. We had a smooth ride out to sea and caught many fish. It was our first time sea fishing and Steve and Jerry helped to make our experience special and exciting for our boys. Jerry was kind enough to filet that fish we caught so we were able to enjoy a very tasty lunch at home. I highly recommend this experience. You won’t be disappointed. Capt. Steve and his first mate Jerry did a great job for us. We asked for an action packed trip more so than catching "trophy" fish and he put us on the fish ! We caught probably 150 fish of mixed variety yesterday and we even brought home plenty of meat to share with the group....

Teen Fishing Trip - NJ Shore
4 Hour Trolling Trip (AM) on June 22, 2024
I booked Captain Steve’s 4hr morning trip for four teen boys who wanted to try fishing. Steve was very responsive when I originally reached out and the boys had an amazing time on the boat with Steve and his first mate taking great care of them. They caught and released several sharks and said it was the best part of our vacation. Would definitely book again and highly recommend.

Captain Steve has been fishing for over 40 years in the area. For years, he was teaching people to fish and was taking them out on his boat. At one point, he decided to do this full time and make it into a profession. The best part of it is that you constantly meet new, fun people and catch fish at the same time.
