FIRST and VERY IMPORTANT. We only do Private Charters, If you book 2 or 3 or 4 people we will not add any other anglers to the boat. The boat is yours and every chance at every bite is yours. Most, perhaps all Charters do 'shared charters' meaning that if you book for 2 or 3 people they will add 1,2 or 3 more people to the boat.
Nestled into the greater Seattle area, Puget Sound is one of the most beautiful fishing spots in the Pacific Northwest. Captain Dale Drogseth and or Captain AJ aboard 'Ruby D Charters'!
Your vessel for the day is a 29' North River aluminum fishing boat. Powered by twin Suzuki 300 HP outboards, she can reach an impressive cruising speed of 32 knots and a top speed of 42 knots. Ample space inside the cabin and on the spacious fishing platform makes her the ideal choice for 6 anglers, 4 of whom can fish at the same time. There's even a private Head with sink / soap. THE CABIN IS HEATED!
Depending on what species the Department of Fish and Wildlife has available somewhat dictates what we fish for. Salmon is open most of the summer, Lingcod opens May 1st for 6 weeks and Flounder is open year round.
We have excellent fishing equipment as well as Garmin electronics.
Fishing licenses are available for purchase on the boat.

Captain Dale was amazing. He made this experience so much fun and his little dog Jolene was an adorable first mate. Strongly recommend Ruby D. 
Thank you both so much, great day on the water!
A great hard working Captain with a newer boat in excellent condition and top notch equipment. He knew right where the Pink Salmon were at and had us bringing them in just a few minutes after the lines went in the water. Gave us great tips and instructions taught all 4 off us some wonderful things. We left the dock at 5:30 am, right on time and two hours later we’re we’re on our way back in with all of us hitting our limit. He came across as a very ethical businessman and sportsman too. Next time we have friends coming to visit us from back in Ohio I will definitely book with him again! He even cleaned and filleted our fish without being asked too! I could not ask for more in a charter.
Captain Dale and Captain AJ were excellent hosts!!! The family had a great time, the fishing were biting and the weather was perfect! This was a great experience for fisherman and the first timers. I would recommend Ruby D Charters to anyone who wants to fish the Puget Sound and have a great time. I will definitely use Captain Dale again when we return to Seattle. Cheers!!! 🤙🏽
A terrific time with terrific people. Made every attempt to maximize the fish catching experience. Professional, kind, polite and a joy to be around. Would recommend them especially if you have a wide range of ages in your party.
Had a half day trip in the afternoon with Captain Dale. Even though the action isn’t as great in the afternoon we still got fish into the boat. I even caught a wild king, but unfortunately had to return it to the water.

Free cancellation up to 3 days prior to trip
You can cancel or modify your booking up to 3 days before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.
What the listing policies are
Pickup agreed upon reservation
Transfer to/from departure site may be available and included in price depending on your location and distance from the dock.
How you can pay
Book with 10% deposit, pay rest to captain
When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.
The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
