Next time you want to catch Salmon and Trout in Lake Ontario, join Salmon Limited Sportfishing Niagara! They are a family-run business established in 2019 that can adjust every trip to suit your needs. Your guide on this trip will be Captain John, who’s been fishing these waters for over 30 years. You’ll be fishing on a Seaswirl Striper, a 22’ walkaround vessel. This state of the art boat is powered by a 225 HP Volvo Penta engine and equipped with the newest safety gear and navigational electronics.
Lake Ontario hosts and awesome fishery of feisty Salmon and Trout species. You can target Coho, Atlantic, and Chinook Salmon and Brown, Lake, and Steelhead Trout. Trolling is the way to go, so you need to keep an eye on the line and notice any twitches and pulls. Once you’re sure there’s a bite, the battle begins!
Couples and Families are regular guests of Salmon Limited Sportfishing. You don’t need previous fishing experience to try Lake Ontario trolling, only a bit of curiosity. Children of all ages are always welcome Captain John has the equipment required to keep them safe.
Your fishing equipment is fully covered by the crew, you only need to purchase your license and bring some snacks and drinks. Get in touch and book your spot on the boat!

Fishing under the Sturgeon Moon
An incredible fishing adventure with Captain John in Niagara’s own backyard. It was so exciting catching and reeling in salmon and trout as the August sun was setting and the Sturgeon Moon was rising over Lake Ontario! Just wear your boat shoes and off you go. Everything for fishing was provided! We chose catch and release taking home amazing and fun memories!

Full Days with Captain John on the Great Lakes
I was able to spend 3 full days with John on both Lakes (Ontario and Erie). What an awesome experience! John is extremely knowledgeable and puts his customers experience at the core of all he does. John was able to help us catch many Salmon, Trout and Walleye during our time together, while transferring his knowledge and providing a first class experience.
