These waters are known for Halibut, and more – with any luck, it won't take long to hook into some.

On these trips, you can expect to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Trips with Discover Alaskan Adventures are great for kids, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. And, you can't go wrong with snacks so that nobody gets cranky on an empty stomach!

You'll be welcome aboard a 28' Aluminum fishing with room for 16 passengers. It has downriggers, everything you need for a productive day on the water. There's a toilet on board for your convenience.

Rods, reels, and tackle are covered by the charter, as well as lures.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.

It's never a bad idea to bring a hat, sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but you should avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
