We had a group of seven in the company brought two boats which worked well since it gave everyone plenty of room to move around the boats and fish. Captain Chris and Adam were awesome. They worked very hard to put us on fish. Everyone had a great time. Be careful where you park at the pick up point. We didn’t notice that there was a spot dedicated for trucks and trailers and wound up with a $45 parking ticket.

We had an absolutely awesome time!!! Captain Chris put us on the fish (tuna, mahi mahi, kings, some other really big fish that fought like a tank that I can’t remember what it’s called, a reef donkey because it fights like a donkey, sailfish, and a 9 foot estimated 150lb shark that we were reeling in for 1 hour and 5 minutes).  Chris was as personable as knowledgeable. 

Collect more memories than things folks.  Go fishing with this crew and you will have an amazing experience to remember the rest of your life.

We had an awesome trip. We just moved to the area and wanted to catch a Wahoo. We were able to pull in a nice one within 30 minutes of the trip along with barracudas and kingfish. The trip was excellent and the dinner that we had after with our catch was even better. Captain Chris was great with the kids and knew about various fish species. We will be going again soon for Mahi or Sailfish!

Our trip was scheduled for 10:30 am - 2:30 pm, but the boat never came to pick us up until 11:40 am. We did receive a text message apology for being late, but it seemed as though there was a scheduling snafu because Captain Nick thought the trip was scheduled for 11 am. He explained he was late because weather conditions delayed the departure of the first trip that morning. That being said, Captain Nick was awesome and did everything he could to make our trip the best it could be despite our late start. He is a great guy, knowledgeable and a hard worker. Reel Floridian Fishing is lucky to have Nick.

Visiting the Ft Lauderdale area for the weekend, booked Reel Floridian to get some time on the water. Unfortunately brought some New England cold weather with me as it was forecasted to be 43 degrees on the morning of our trip. Reel Floridian helped work with me to start a bit later that morning and let things warm up. Capt Nick was knowledgeable and personable, we had fun with decent success on a relatively slow fishing day. Hooked a Skipjack probably 30 mins into the trip, but the taxman got him before we landed him. Had another tuna on but he shook the hook. Landed a nice Kingfish on the troll along with a blue runner and some red grouper once we shifted to bottom fishing. All in all a fun day on the water and would love to book again next time I’m in the area!
