Join Wild Goose Fishing Charters on a San Diego fishing trip you'll never forget! With a lifetime of fishing experience, Captain Ray's passion is putting his clients on the fish, passing along the knowledge that he has gained over the years and making sure everyone has a good time.

Experience the ultimate fishing platform for up to 6 passengers. The Wild Goose is a perfectly laid out 37' Strike walkaround boat with 360-degree fishing ability – all on a level deck. The boat offers 2 livewells and state-of-the-art Furuno electronics.

Capt. Ray specializes in offshore trips targeting pelagic species, such as Tuna, Yellowtail, and Mahi Mahi on the Coronado islands, but he also enjoys targeting Rockfish and Lingcod at the local banks. Lots of other more casual trips are available as well, so just take your pick!

You'll have a variety of Penn, Shimano, and Calstar rods to choose from. If you love snorkeling, Capt. Ray has the equipment for 3 guests. You'll need to purchase your fishing license. Make sure to bring your passport and fishing visa if you want to reach the waters of Mexico.

this was a full day offshore trip, we had a great time, we caught Bluefin Tuna, yellowfin, yellowtail, and also Dorato which was unheard off in April. i would highly recomend Wild Goose Charters, with Captain Ray and Earney

8 Hour Trip – Offshore on December 9, 2025 • 4 adults
Ray and his twin were awesome. We were off season but wanted to try. Dec 7th we did not catch any Blue fin or yelloe fin tuna. It was not due to a lack of effort.....So then they made sure we got a lot of Rock fish. You can not go wrong with Ray and Anthony. Boat was awesome too!

Non- Stop Bonito Catch!
12 Hour Trip – Offshore on May 30, 2025 • 5 adults
The Captain and Deck-hand were extremely professional at their job! We had a blast on the trip. We did a half day and caught 16 Bonito fish between the four of us. All over 30 inches which is huge for the type of species. I would definitely book the trip again. The crew was super helpful and had a great attitude. We could tell they loved their trade. T.
