Spend the day with Limitless Sportfishing and see what's biting in San Diego! With Captain Matt at the helm, you'll benefit from years of knowledge and experience.

There's no guarantee when you're fishing, but just some of the species you can catch around here include Pacific Barracuda, Calico Bass, California Sheephead, Dolphin, Mahi Mahi, Lingcod, Striped Marlin, Rockfish, White Seabass, Yellowtail Amberjack, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, and more if you come at the right time of year. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle. Capt. Matt can also have you kite fishing.

Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are permitted onboard — bring your favorites for a boost of energy when needed!

You'll be casting lines from a 44' Pacifica sportfishing vessel with capacity for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.

There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. A 10–20% tip is customary to show your appreciation for their hard work.

Before coming aboard, you'll need to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.

A few items to bring include sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be food and some light snacks for you on board.

Look No Further — This Is the Crew You Want
Half Day Trip (AM) 6:30AM-11:30 AM on March 22, 20263 adults2 children

I couldn’t recommend Matt and his crew enough. We booked a family trip with my three younger boys, and we were all catching fish after fish. Matt and Matt were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and just enjoyable people to spend the day with. We all had a wonderful trip, and I can’t imagine ever booking with anyone else. Beautiful boat, experienced crew, and a perfect, seamless fishing trip for our family. Look no further if you’re considering booking!

We had a great day fishing.
Full Day Trip — Offshore-Bluewater on August 7, 20266 adults

We thought we might not get out far enough to make a full day worth it. But we found a couple of kelp patties and a dead whale and sleighed it. Darando, Yellow Fin, Yellow Tail.

Grew up fishing and working on charters boat since the age of 12. Began as a deckhand and earned my US Coast Guard 100 Ton Masters license at the age of 21. I really enjoy the hunt and the daily grind of operating the Limitless. It doesn't matter what we catch, whether it's a rockfish or a 300lb. Bluefin Tuna, I love it all.
