despite difficult conditions (out of the captains control) he made great decisions that helped us find plus sized walleye and full sized memories. thank you jeremy for the hard work and fun time.
Had a great time catching walley with Jeremy today! Great operation.

I had mixed feelings about my recent fishing trip and would like to share some detailed feedback. I had booked a two-day bass fishing trip on the Columbia River through Stott's Fishing Adventures two months in advance. As I live in Calgary, this was a well-planned journey involving a 1,000 km drive, hotel bookings, and a clear goal: two full days of bass fishing. Unfortunately, two days before the trip, I called to confirm the arrangements and was informed that the originally scheduled bass fishing captain would not be available on the first day. I was offered an alternative—to fish for walleye instead. However, this option was not suitable for us, as we already have plenty of opportunities to fish for walleye in Alberta. Our sole purpose for this trip was to target bass. I was told they would try their best to find a replacement bass guide, but by the next day—after I was already on the road—I was informed they couldn’t arrange one. At that point, my only options were to accept what they had available or to reschedule, which was not feasible due to fixed hotel reservations and the long-distance travel involved. We eventually agreed to proceed with a walleye guide who would take us to bass fishing spots, as we had brought our own gear. Unfortunately, the substitute guide, although well-meaning, was unfamiliar with bass fishing techniques and locations. We caught just one bass by casting, and a couple more while trolling, which we only resorted to in an attempt to catch anything at all. Additionally, lunch was supposed to be provided as part of the trip. Since the replacement guide was not affiliated with Stott’s Fishing Adventures, he wasn’t able to provide this service. Thankfully, he informed us in advance, so we brought our own food. I want to emphasize that my dissatisfaction is not with the guide himself—he did the best he could under the circumstances. My disappointment lies with the organizers, who made no effort to offer any compensation for what was a significantly diminished experience. The first day felt entirely spoiled and did not meet our expectations. In contrast, the second day was excellent. We were guided by Captain Jeremy, who was professional, friendly, and clearly experienced in bass fishing. The lunch was provided as promised, the fishing was productive, and the overall experience was exactly what we had hoped for when booking this trip. In summary, while the second day was fantastic and met our expectations, the first day was a major letdown due to last-minute changes, inadequate contingency planning, and lack of proactive customer service from the organizers. I hope this feedback helps improve future planning and communication for other clients.
Although the day started an hour and a half late, the fishing and boat captian were good. Fishing Booker, on the other, l would rate very poorly.
