Explore the beautiful waters of Florida in and around the stunning Amelia Island with Fernandina Fishing Charters, a Veteran-owned and operated business. Captain Bart Smith is a registered Coast Guard captain and has been saltwater fishing for over 30 years. He's had some great success in the area, and he'll get you out on the water for an eventful and memorable, hassle-free fishing experience.

You'll join Capt. Bart on his 21' Angler center console boat, powered by 150 HP Mercury engine. With GPS, a fishfinder, and VHF radio, you'll have all the electronics you need to have a productive fishing day. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers, making it the perfect vessel for an outing with a few friends or your family.

These waters are known as very prolific and the abundance of wildlife in the area is amazing. You'll be cruising the waters in comfort going after some of the most prized Florida fish species like Black Drum, Flounder, Ladyfish, Redfish, Seabass, various species of Shark, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout.

You'll find everything you need on board – rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and a range of artificial lures. Capt. Bart will be happy to clean and fillet your catch for you so you can take it straight to the table upon your return. Feel free to bring the kids, as they are welcome on board, and this is the perfect opportunity to make some new family memories.

Fun 2-hour afternoon trip

2 Hour Kids Trip - 4:00 PM on May 24, 2026 • 2 adults

My wife (inexperienced angler) and I (casual angler) booked a 2-hr afternoon inshore trip. The trip was enjoyable and productive. Together we caught about 10-15 fish including sand trout, speckled trout, bluefish, whiting, jack cravelle, and toadfish. My wife hooked about a 4-foot bonnethead shark. Together we fought it for about 15 minutes before it broke the line! Big fun! Bart (our Captain) was patient and accommodating! Would definitely book with Reel-Mar Charters again! Thanks for a great trip Bart!

Captain Bart is amazing! 
He took my 9 year old son and I out for the evening. My kid asked a thousand questions and he answered them very kindly ! Also, the fish were biting the entire trip and we caught quite a few ! I highly recommend booking captain Bart !
