Captain Bart Smith is a registered Coast Guard captain and has been saltwater fishing for over 30 years. He's had some great success in the area, and he'll get you out on the water for an eventful and memorable, hassle-free fishing experience.
You'll join Capt. Bart on his 21' Angler center console boat, powered by 150 HP Mercury engine. With GPS, a fishfinder, and VHF radio, you'll have all the electronics you need to have a productive fishing day. The boat can accommodate up to 4 anglers, making it the perfect vessel for an outing with a few friends or your family.
These waters are known as very prolific and the abundance of wildlife in the area is amazing. You'll be cruising the waters in comfort going after some of the most prized Florida fish species like Black Drum, Flounder, Ladyfish, Redfish, Seabass, various species of Shark, Sheepshead, and Spotted Seatrout.
You'll find everything you need on board – rods, reels, and tackle, as well as live bait and a range of artificial lures. Capt. Bart will be happy to clean and fillet your catch for you so you can take it straight to the table upon your return. Feel free to bring the kids, as they are welcome on board, and this is the perfect opportunity to make some new family memories.

Highlight was a great red drum for our 13 year old! Always had more bait ready if we happened to be fishing on credit. We saw spoonbills and dolphins, too. Great trip for beginning anglers because it was just long enough. Captain Bart cleaned our catches and also showed our kid how to prepare crab traps back at the marina. Really enjoyed our trip and will definitely book again.

Everything was so smooth from the bery beginning - responsive, accommodating, and very friendly! We caught BIG fish, and the captain was on top of everything. He noticed when someone needed bait, had helpful tips/tricks, and knew exactly where to be and when. We got off the boat and immediately started talking about when we could go again.

Took my 12 and 5 year old sons out with Captain Bart and had the best time. He was incredibly patient and juggled the chaos my boys bring exceptionally well. We caught a huge red fish and took it home for dinner! Very happy I booked this and my boys are already begging to go again.

Overall it was a great experience. there were a few hiccups early on but Captain Bart more than made up for it. He helped my son with all aspects of fishing and by the end of the trip he was baiting his own line. We caught more fish than we could count including 3 different types of sharks! We also left with some filets to have for lunch. Would highly recommend Captain Bart for your next fishing charter.

My wife (inexperienced angler) and I (casual angler) booked a 2-hr afternoon inshore trip. The trip was enjoyable and productive. Together we caught about 10-15 fish including sand trout, speckled trout, bluefish, whiting, jack cravelle, and toadfish. My wife hooked about a 4-foot bonnethead shark. Together we fought it for about 15 minutes before it broke the line! Big fun! Bart (our Captain) was patient and accommodating! Would definitely book with Reel-Mar Charters again!
